No, they don't put sonar based systems in their game cause it's AN INSANE amount of development work that all but the biggest AAA games can afford. Throwing a filter over the entire screen to help the colorblind or allowing text size enlargement requires very little effort. Giving every object a state where sound will echo off it is beyond a whole nother level.
