At the end of the day, I think in my heart that Trump is only doing this out of spite because South Africa accused Israel of genocide. I think its a "how do you like it now?' type of deal. And if it makes you feel any better, I don't think you will get a lot of South African refugees at the moment because not a lot actually want to leave. Home is home you know?
If one thing can be said for certain it is that the White (Afrikans, British South African, etc.) population is gradually shrinking and quite a few people are moving away if they are able to.

Something I heard from I think Gavin McInnes many years ago that really stuck with me is that leftoids have no concept of the actual numbers of anything. They don't know the population of the US or other major countries, they don't know how many illegals are here or how many come over every month, they just have no idea of the actual quantity; these are only qualitative concepts for them. If they were being honest and serious about their concern for black South Africans and their belief that the racial laws against whites is justified, what they would inevitably have to acknowledge is that letting whites leave is doing the blacks a favour. It means less whites in the labour force and less white owned land. But as you point out, they are the ultimate lightning rod for everything the left consider wicked and bad about white people.
