He clearly just wants a replacement for his mom. A woman who will accept all his faults, baby him and take care of him, no questions asked. He's been dependent for too long. I think when he says these things he is speaking about a hypothetical alternate reality where he can actually talk to people. That's really for the couple to decide.
But yes if a spouse is a stay at home spouse they should be able to do everything from all meals and cleaning to gardening if it's had and animal and livestock care. If there are children the children should be being homeschooled and then ran around to activities so they can be socialized but not molested by teachers for 8 hours a day and that's the stay at home's job.

The 50s was poisonous and suburbs are absolute cancer. It had us thinking that women should just stay at home, take at most 2 hours for meal work each day and then do minimal cleaning but not be forced to know how to fix a sink or a toilet. If you stay at home you stay at home the job is the house, it's not a difficult concept yet people don't hold women to a higher standard and it's pathetic.
