Jesus Christ what a thin skinned Retard. Phil, you will only be ever relevant for being bad at games (and ruining games in General) and jerking of on camera. Deal with it. And you're not even unique for being bad at games either, scrubquotes has so many Moments and you were basically "blacklisted" because uploading your Clips was "cheating"

We got another DSP fails at modding during the late minecraft stream.

He did try to install another mod: distant horizon (which is another graphical mod) and he fucked it up.
I won't go into too much details but that made him burst into one of his "this is why I play on console" tirade.

Nothing really out the ordinary except while during his attempt at reinstalling it he showed up his opened apps and we can see some interesting details.

It does confirm one thing: Phil isn't even the one doing the research for the mods, he has a dedicated Dent called Duncan that sent him installl instruction on discord and by mail.


Sadly that's the best quality I could get but here you can somehow make up a long message with a link to the mod and some explanations on the installation

This all could have been avoided if he learned how to capture video from an application, rather than his entire screen like a dummy.

He is correct, that clip is out of kahntekst as it just showed him looking as lively as a corpse that's about to get embalmed, it's missing important kahntekst like him begging all the time and whining whenever the game refuses to let him progress with zero effort.

What was that again being on secret discord servers and talking shit and what else? Projecting seems to be Phil's best ability. right next to begging of course

There’s something uniquely very, very, very hypocritical (as he would say) about Phil Burnell complaining about somebody taking a clip and sharing it out of context, when in the last year he’s done the same:
  • Reacted to videos about RTU from Lolcowlive without backstory or context
  • Did a weekly react stream where he had a practice of skimming through clips and reacting out of context, which might be even worse because the context is in the video but Phil is too lazy to watch it without assuming he knows the theme
  • Did a “politics” show when he reacted to stories out of context, usually without having any backstory as to what is going on, just adapting a trend he saw on Twitter… hey that’s literally what is going on here too
  • Does news segments where you either get Phil’s hate chub about somebody shoved into a topic (just this week with TLOU2) or again, reacting without context that he’s too lazy to learn about
Phil, if there was anybody on the internet who deserved to get bad faith clipped at any moment, it’s you.

I don't know if that is entirely fair. Like look how Howard and Rambo talk about Scott in that call. The guy who was in like *the first* Street Fighter tournaments. Like they take pride in him being part of their community. And thats the real only cred they give him.

Like hell, just last weekend me and some guys went out of town for a Warhammer tournament. Met some friends at it, and pardon me for saying the gayest thing you will ever read, we went to the bar afterwards had dinner and some drinks. And roughly two thirds of that conversation was our wargaming cred. And we aren't exactly world class players so it was a lot of, "Oh shit I've been playing since sixth edition" "I used to play until Warmahordes took over the scene" "Oh shit, a warmahordes player!?". That kind of shit. And its stuff I learned from my Dad. And even in less loser contexts. Shit like the kinda car you drive. Or hell, just telling some poor fuck you're sitting next to how many times you've come seen this washed up band play at bars your whole life. I dunno about women, but its just what men do. We wear our experience our sleeve.

So I am sure, Phil had a lot of that in the FGC. Because he is a fairly late entry into the scene. He isn't an 09'er. But the bunch essentially before that. His game is MvC2 and CvS 2. Those are incredibly late games by FGC. Which means he just never had that the way his friends and peers would. People he "admired" would probably just do that. So when he starts his youtube channel, now he gets to be that guy. Although

You expected a puzzle piece, but it was me! An actual explanation!

LPers did that shit all the fucking time. Almost any old school LP has a history section as to why they are uniquely qualified to show you this game. It kind of fell off when a new generation of people stopped playing dusty ass ROMs of Mega Man 2.

Even if he was on UV and on controller, his play is absolutely ass. The fact he's getting stuffed this much on HMP is hysterical.

I don't think he makes it through Plutonia, let alone Sunlust. I hope after the Dark Ages playthrough is over and this clip picks up more momentum, Phil tries to prove he's good at Doom by doing Plutonia and gets absolutely ravaged. If he was smart, he might be able to find a way to market it, but the only thing more abundant than his greed is his ego.

Save-scumming through basegame Doom 2 is basically the indicator you're not good at the game.
