Detroit has very "sharp lines" between urban-hood-suburban. One group of cross-streets is full of extremely high-end offices related to car companies, suppliers, and financial institutions, once you cross one you instantly end up in some of the worst decaying hoods on the planet, and are immediately given the option to bypass them by using a semi-underground barely-policed highway. These areas also contain the surprisingly well-policed giga industrial zones. Once you cross a certain highway interchange, you enter a "sundown town" (no-nigger-zone) and the environment instantly changes from a decaying hood to very nice medium-end offices, educational institutions, and small scale high precision manufacturing, with white suburbs neatly placed in the gaps. These are probably some of the only areas in the state that regularly issue speeding tickets. Go further out and there is no gradual shift to rural, the suburbs just end and you are greeted with medium-scale farms, orchards, and forests.

You can draw a path from downtown Detroit to any point outside of Detroit and this is exactly how it will be organized. This is how you build anti-nigger fortifications to create safe, wealthy, white neighborhoods, while still being able to go to work in the city every day. Detroit has been doing this a long long time.

Helping white people buck broke the Episcopal Church so badly that they would rather give up their refugee resettlement operations altogether, than to countenance white refugees. In other words, after being asked to resettle 59 white Afrikaans refugees, the Episcopal Church decided to give up its program that has lasted for decades and has resettled over 100k people.


At the end of the day, I think in my heart that Trump is only doing this out of spite because South Africa accused Israel of genocide. I think its a "how do you like it now?' type of deal. And if it makes you feel any better, I don't think you will get a lot of South African refugees at the moment because not a lot actually want to leave. Home is home you know?

Say what you will about Trump, but he's a master class in forcing the left into indefensible positions or exposing their hypocrisy on already held positions. A few dozen families tumble off a plane and you have liberals mocking them and telling them to go back to Germany. Honestly, if their politics and TDS allowed them to concede anything or agree with anything Trump has done, or at least when to keep their mouths shut and choose which battles to fight, they wouldn't be in such silly positions. They may lose ground in the midterms after all if they keep this up.

If they were being honest and serious about their concern for black South Africans and their belief that the racial laws against whites is justified, what they would inevitably have to acknowledge is that letting whites leave is doing the blacks a favour. It means less whites in the labour force and less white owned land. But as you point out, they are the ultimate lightning rod for everything the left consider wicked and bad about white people. That’s what they’re afraid of. They are the archetype of the “evil white man”. For this reason I think they’re also fundamentally opposed to helping us. In their mind it’s an abhorration that the most evil subgroup of whites gets precedent.

Also that segues into another point. They don’t believe that white South Africans can possibly be refugees because they believe that all the measures against them are justified and fair. They’re upset that certain people are offered a way out of what’s essentially a prolonged humiliation ritual. In their world view it’s abhorrent that the worlds biggest oppressors are not facing the music

Something that further compounds this, the peaceful Transition from apartheid to multi racial democracy is a keystone piece of the post cold war new world order, South Africa was to be the shining example and for a while this facade was maintained. Looking back on it they really did get the best case scenario for this and it's still looking to turn into Zimbabwe.
South Africa turning into a failed state cannot be permitted, while preventing that is functionally impossible every effort must be put towards keeping the image that everything is fine and not to look at the man behind the curtain. Deny the extremism and open racial animosity of the EFF, debunk(lie) about the farm killings and disproportionate violence against the SA whites, and ignore every metric that is standard and expected in the first world is failing (consistent power for example)
Combine that with ample quantities of white guilt from the people whose ancestors are some of the guiltiest and you get the present xenophobia and hostility to the Afrikaners by the left.

Lockheed could stand to take a risk and venture back into the civilian market. It would be beyond American pride. You could say "yeah, my jumbo jet was made by Skunkworks". That would be dope. Maybe even put in some cool tech like sensors from the 35 program if they can, make it all slick. America is the land of potential. It just has to be grasped.

Ibadhi Islam is very interesting. Of the three main branches of Islam it's probably the most strict and austere in practice and theology, skeptical of mysticism, intellectualism and emotionalism equally, but at the same time it's the most pragmatic in dealing with both modernity and non-Muslims.
