General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Late answer, but in the stream today she primarily cited health reasons. Shes been having what i assume is chronic migraine issues on and off for a year and the countryside air and probably generally relaxed environment has helped.
Protip: If you have migraines or headaches put your feet in hot water, it helps tremendously.

Even if you’re in the rural areas of Japan, it’s like an hour or 2 train ride max to Tokyo (or other large city depending on where they live). Unless she is in Hokkaido or something she shouldn’t have to worry about being lonely.
So you would think, but rural living like that (from personal experience) can make it harder maintaining in person connections. A lot of trips quickly turn into full day or weekend long adventures because of the time and distances involved. Spontaneous journeys are out of the question once you're in the workforce, you have to plan in advance, and depending on schedules it can be stupidly difficult figuring out a time everyone can meet up.

Not surprised by the initial concern expressed for Korone, true rural living isn't something a lot of people are mentally made for now, especially those needing direct in person interactions.

I am watching Mori play Expedition 33 and she 100% spoiled herself about the story but is pretending like she doesn't know what is going to happen :story:

people keep saying this but the game actually foreshadows a shit ton, she's been wrong as much as she's been right in her ideas throughout her playthrough.
People are like "there's no way she knows the curator is Renoir" even though the game literally has Maelle flash see him as Renoir at one point earlier.

They foreshadow a lot, but everything is still incredibly vague and disjointed until it comes together at the end of Act 2. I think the most likely scenario, is that she was probably spoiled by random asshole chatters from previous playthrough streams and started to put things together based on spoiled bits she unintentionally had to see.

I mean it's possible I just, sitting here watching her, her suppositions and guesses were just as you said, very vague and disjointed until the end of act 2.

Most of the specifics didn't start coming together for her until she was watching the epilogue
