A 16-year-old track athlete was killed during a championship meet Wednesday morning in Texas by a member of another team, officials said.

Frisco Police confirmed the student-athlete died "despite lifesaving measures." The suspect, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, has been charged with first-degree murder.

A student from Frisco Memorial was the victim, according to local reports. Frisco Memorial Principal Brook Fesco wrote in an email obtained by Fox News Digital that Austin Metcalf, a junior at the school, had died Wednesday.

The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. at Kuykendall Stadium at the University Interscholasic League's District 11-5A championship meet. Anthony attends Frisco Centennial, roughly 7 miles away from Frisco Memorial.

According to the Frisco Independent School District, the meet was suspended shortly after the incident. The ISD added that the stadium "was immediately secured, and students were released and sent back to their home campus on FISD buses with expediency."

In her email, Fesco said the school "will acknowledge Austin’s death during 2nd period and will offer support throughout the day," adding counselors would be available.

"As a parent, your guidance and support will be important in helping your child process grief. Talking about this together, face-to-face, will give you a chance to discuss how your family understands and copes with loss. You may also want to discuss with your child how to be a supportive friend to classmates," Fesco wrote. "This loss might remind your student of past losses as well. The most important thing you can do is provide your child a chance to be heard and to express their feelings."

"The Frisco Police Department grieves with all those affected by this devastating loss and extends its deepest condolences to the victim’s family, students, and staff who are experiencing unimaginable pain," the department said in a statement. "The department is collaborating with the Frisco Independent School District and will continue to provide any support they need during this incredibly difficult time."

Metcalf, who also played football at the school, participated in both the boys shot put and discus events earlier in the day, with threw distances of 39 feet, 9¾ inches and 86 feet, 4 inches, respectively.

Anthony ran the boys' 100-meter dash in 12.38 seconds and was scheduled to compete in the long jump.

Eight schools competed at the meet, according to MileSplit.

I think with this and Shiloh Hendrix we have turned a corner in race relations. I'm hearing a LOT of rumblings online about "Black Fatigue" with people openly discussing things that they never would have a year ago outside of small pockets of the web like Kiwi Farms. I fully expect that the usual suspects will push back hard with labels of racism, but I think we've reached a point where the magic of that little incantation has faded away completely. We are crossing the Rubicon here.
Give it a month and whitey will forget all about it. The vast majority of people already have, if they ever gave a damn in the first place.
The nigger will graduate and receive a standing ovation for his battle against racism just like that hockey nigger that slashed a White man's throat. The next game, whitey clapped at his lordship.
You don't understand how much both younger and older Whites worship niggers - for different reasons, but the result is the same.
The race war will never happen as long as there is food on the table for Whites. The Turner Diaries was correct in regards to that. Here in Europe, we are angry when a sandnigger kills little White girls like Ebba, but then we don't do shit. Another day, another dead cracker. Get used to it or Tarrantmaxx. The choice is yours.

I'm actually pretty sure now that he's only allowed to graduate, but not walk. The comments I am seeing from the usual suspects are still enraging, doubling down on how if Austin had kept his hands to himself, he'd be graduating, too. However, I still believe many are astroturfing accounts with completely fake back stories, families, circular comments, etc. But maybe that's me going too tinfoil hat.

Actually now that it makes sense this is like a 90/10 issue.
90% of the people even black people who know the facts Know that Karmelo is cooked.
The problem is that 10% is the key vanguard of the left. Because of this the narratives around Karmelo are he is Rosa parks 2.0
It doesn't matter what the facts are the world has to be like CBS and Tumblr and white people have to be evil.
Those white retards still don't know to never relax around blacks.
It's less that and more the fact that they never actually have to deal with niggas.

I haven't watched past this loser in the beginning, but Christ almighty I'm sick of these fucking clowns.

At about 5:00, there's another statement that I didn't see yet. I found them here, along with the earlier ones I'd seen. I'll repost them all here for posterity.

School Resource Officer Eduardo Cortez appears to have been the first law enforcement officer to arrive on the scene after a call went out about a stabbing at David Kuykendall Stadium. Cortez was in his office at Staley Middle School and reportedly ran the short distance from the middle school to the stadium, where several witnesses pointed him in the direction of the suspect.

The suspect at this point was on the track on the north end. There was a chain link fence that separated me from the suspect. I gave the suspect instructions to keep his hands up in the air. During this time, the suspect said verbally out loud, “I was protecting myself”. It should be noted that I had not questioned him about the incident when he made that comment. I asked him if he had any weapons, and he said no.

I padded [sic] him down for weapons while we were walking along the fence, and I did not locate any on his person. I instructed the male to continue walking along the fence, which he complied, towards an area where there was an opening in the fence that led off the track. While walking him off the track, the suspect also said “he put his hands on me”. I then detained the suspect in handcuffs (hand cuffed behind his back) and had him sit down on the ground.

Officer A. Ricci had arrived on scene at that time. I conducted another pat down of his person and then searched his person after he gave me consent, no weapons were located. While the suspect sat on the ground, I advised that I had the alleged suspect. The suspect then responds and says, “I’m not alleged, I did it”.
[Shortly thereafter, Cortez’s report shows that Anthony is placed in a police car, and they continue their verbal exchange.]
Next, Officer Ricci and I walked the suspect to patrol vehicle #2412 (this is Officer A. Ricci’s patrol vehicle), which was on the north east gate of Kuyrkendall stadium. As we were walking to the squad car, the suspect was emotional and said, “He put his hands on me, I told him not too.” I did not question the suspect about the incident while he was escorted to the patrol vehicle.

I searched his person once again and I had him sit in the back seat area (driver side) of patrol vehicle #2412. While the suspect was in the back seat, I noticed fresh blood on his left middle finger. I verbally acknowledged that I saw the blood out loud so that it would be captured on my Body Worn Camera. It should also be noted that the suspect asked me “is he going to be ok” while he was in the back seat.

Officer Alvin Fischer’s report is one of the shortest, but it appears he is the first officer to talk to the Metcalf’s twin brother, Hunter, who was with him at the time of death.

When I arrived, the crime scene was already marked off and a suspect was in custody. I began asking people if they were witnesses to anything. I made contact with Hunter M[redacted] and then E [Redacted] (B/M [Redacted] they were both breathing heavily and crying due to the nature of events. They were with coaches on the field and it was pouring down rain.
[They relocate to a locker room to avoid the rain, and Fischer learns that Hunter is Austin’s brother.]
I attempted to ask them both what had happened. I could not really get anything out of Hunter, but [redacted] stated he wanted to speak. I asked him what happened, and he stated they were all sitting on the bleachers under a Memorial HS tent. When another male, who he did not know, walked over and sat under the tent. [Redacted] then said Austin (the victim) told this male that since he did not go to Memorial he had to leave the tent.

Austin and the male went back and forth and then Austin stood up and pushed the male to get him out of the tent. [Redacted] had said during this time of arguing, the male was reaching around in his bag he had. It was at this time the male took out a knife and stabbed Austin and then left the scene. This was all [Redacted] remembered when he talked to me.

Officer Allyson Ricci appears to be the “officer Ricci” that Cortez referred to. Ricci’s statement corroborates Cortez’s, although it is briefer and less detailed; she also claims to have heard Anthony confess. Ricci’s statement shows Anthony asking about the types of legal defenses he can raise.
When I arrived on scene, I approached the track/ field area and saw Officer Cortez kneeling next to a black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue sweatpants. The male, later identified as Karmelo Anthony [redaction] was in handcuffs and was seated on the sidewalk by the entrance to the track. As I approached Officer Cortez, Officer Cortez stated Anthony was the alleged suspect. Anthony then made a spontaneous statement and stated, “I am not alleged, I did it.”

Officer Cortez conducted a PAT search of Anthony’s person to ensure Anthony did not have any weapons and found nothing of evidentiary value. Officer Cortez and I then walked Anthony to my pre searched patrol vehicle and Anthony was seated in the rear driver side compartment of my patrol vehicle. While walking to my patrol vehicle, Anthony made another spontaneous statement and asked if what happened could be considered self-defense. I replied by telling Anthony I did not know what happened. It should be noted the in-car camera in my patrol vehicle was activated prior to Anthony being placed in my patrol vehicle.

While Officer Cortez assisted Anthony into my patrol vehicle, I noticed Anthony had blood on his left middle finger. I grabbed my department issued digital camera and took a photograph of Anthony’s hands. I later uploaded the photograph to the crime scene folder under this case number.

Officer Taylor Wetzel appears to have spent considerable time talking to witnesses while others photographed the scene and secured evidence. Wetzel’s report records the testimony of witnesses whose names are redacted and it describes the events that led up to the alleged murder.
The following is a summary of my contact with [redacted name] advised he was sitting under the Memorial High School pop up tent with his team and was near the victim, Austin and the suspect, who was later identified as, Karmelo Anthony (b/m DOB: [redacted birthday] Anthony was from Centennial High School and was sitting under the Memorial High School tent.

Austin had told Anthony that he needed to move out from under their team’s tent and Anthony grabbed his bag, opened it and reached inside and proceeded to tell Austin, “Touch me and see what happens.” No one really thought Anthony really had any weapons in his bag and Austin proceeded to touch Anthony and then Anthony told Austin to punch him and see what happens.

A short time later, Austin grabbed Anthony to tell him to move and Anthony pulled out what [redacted name] recalled as a black knife and stabbed Austin once in the chest and then ran away. Austin began grabbing his chest and telling everyone to get help. [Name redacted] advised he did not know Anthony’s name but stated another Memorial Track member [redacted name, only the initials E and P are visible] was friends with Anthony and he could identify Anthony.
Austin's Memorial teammate with E.P. initials who was friends with Karmelo is almost certainly Edwin Parra. Anybody feel like sleuthing to see if he has anything worthwhile on socials?

Here's what I've seen Hunter say so far. I had to type it up myself so I might have something wrong:
He was a good kid. We just had a little altercation. And that's really it, but he has a good heart. Everyone knows, everyone around who knows he's a great kid. Just one mistake from that dude, and he just took my brother. He didn't deserve it. No one deserves a loss from a family like that. I know people that lose their family members all the time, but I just didn't know it was going to be mine so soon. My best friend and my brother my whole life, but...
There was this kid, before I knew his name now. This kid was standing under our tent at track. We asked him to move. He started getting aggressive and talking reckless. And my brother stepped in and said, "You need to move." And he's like, "Make me move." Austin grabbed his backpack. The kid.. I tried to whip around him as fast as I could, but I couldn't see the stab, but then I look...but then I look at my brother, and I'm not going to talk about my rest.

That's just what I saw and I, I mean, I tried to help him, but...it was really senseless. really, I don't know why a person would do that to someone just over that little argument. It's just crazy in this world nowadays how people just up and do that. That man had a family, that man has people that care about them all the time. He did everything for our family, too. He was a strong man. He was a strong, strong kid. Real strong.
I'm still uncertain on how much of a role Hunter played during this. It's hard to tell if he's including himself in the argument when he says "we just had a little altercation." I could see him using "we" for something he wasn't directly involved in because they're identical twins and that's a different kind of bond. But it seems he could be saying that "we [him and Karmelo] had a little altercation" and that's when Austin stepped up to direct Karmelo to leave.

I'm also partially confused about "Austin grabbed his backpack" because witnesses make it clear that Karmelo had his backpack and put his hand in it while daring Austin to do more. I wonder if Austin grabbed his backpack to move it/him out of their tent and that's when Karmelo pulled his hand out and stabbed him?

I typed up the FOX interview sections with Hunter describing what happened, too:
So, there was a really bad storm in the morning, and they had a lot of delays. Me, my brother, a couple kids were walking back from the fieldhouse of the middle school because we attended that middle school when we went to middle school. And we were saying hello to old coaches and catching up with them. And then we're walking back to our stand. We put our tent up so all the bleachers [that] were right there were not wet from all the rain.

We come back, we sit down, and this kid said something behind me. I've never met this kid in my entire life, never knew who he was. Said something just inappropriate and uh, uncalled for. And I turned around and asked him who he was, and he started getting really aggressive. My brother stepped in and he started being, you know, how he always is with me, you know, just brothers, just having my back. And things started getting more higher-intensity. And the kid said some aggressive stuff, like reckless stuff. You know, Austin tried to handle the problem and—

[Mother saying that Austin would always one to step up and to do the right thing. He was stepping up and doing the right thing to tell this kid that he's in the wrong place and needs to leave. She mentions that lots of personal items belonging to the team are in that tent when Hunter continues on from there]

A lot of stuff gets stolen, [it's] just like, precautions and stuff and our coaches always told us don't let, you know, other schools in or like, mess with our stuff, or just sit around our tent area. And we set that up for the girls’ track every meet we had, so, it's just like.. and he knew he wasn't supposed to be there. It's just.. it's just a tragedy, what happened.

[Reported asks what happened after Austin stepped up]

He stepped up over there, asked him to move. He got aggressive, he grabbed the bag. And then I whipped my head around, and then all of a sudden, I see him running down the bleachers [clutching chest with hand to mimic Austin's behavior] grabbing his chest. Just blood rushing out, he's yelling, he got stabbed, he got stabbed.

First I froze for half a second. I didn't know what to do. And then I saw him fall. I went to go over there. I grabbed him. I see.. [Mother stops him from continuing as she breaks down] Yeah, there was... you could see... you could picture what had happened, you know, what was coming out of his chest. Y'all can visualize. That isn't what I want to put on my Mom right now.

I put my hand-I pushed my hand on there, trying to make it stop. And I grabbed his head and looked in his eyes. I just... I just saw his soul leave and it took my soul, too.
Christ.

I can't tell if he's saying Austin got aggressive and grabbed his bag or Karmelo. It sounds like the former in this reading, but could be Karmelo got aggressive, then Austin grabbed his bag, too. I wonder if he suspected Karmelo had stolen something and that's why he grabbed the bag? I guess we'll know during the trial.

Hunter keeps saying he turned around and didn't see the stabbing directly. I'm unsure if they'd already setup the tent or were in the process of it. Their Dad has given conflicting information on this part:

Police have not said what led to the stabbing, but Austin’s father says it started when his sons and members of the Memorial High School track team questioned Anthony about why he was standing near them instead of his own team.

“Each high school had their own section to sit and they went to set up the Memorial tent. They heard this individual behind them speaking, and they turned around and said, ‘Who are you?’ And he said, “I’m Melo,’ and he had a Centennial tracksuit on,” Metcalf described. “They said, ‘You’re in the wrong spot. You need to go sit with your team,’ and then it escalated.”
So Karmelo was bothering the other team, talking shit, and being a general nuisance to normal, civilized people. The blacks are now hammering down on the narrative that demanding poor Karmelo leave during rain was an act of cruelty. It's apparently a death sentence to withstand drizzling while going to your own team's area. The pure entitlement from these pieces of shit is astounding, I tell you.

Anybody know if Centennial had a tent setup?

Mom has more balls than her cuck husband, at least she fought
I think a lot of people also have not watched this video, in which both her and the twin brother clearly say that they do not take the same position as the father in forgiving Karmelo (from min 7:00)
I am not like their dad. I am so angry at that boy

Another interview of just the mother and twin brother:

push back hard with labels of racism
It has been said a million times. They screwed themselves by calling everyone racist. It is starting to become meaningless as a label.

Anybody know if Centennial had a tent setup?
It is a depressing thread, but I found it funny how we both linked to the same two videos (although for different reasons, I was ready to delete my post otherwise)

Unless I am retarded, the two tents look like they are next to each other?
Edit: I AM retarded. Neither of these tents belong to Centennial High School. I guess still useful to guess that then they did not have a tent (unless for some reason they shared it with Liberty).
It is interesting to see how close the two teams' tents are as well.

If anyone needs proof that the Liberty Redhawks are the team from Karmelo School: School website 1, 2
Memorial is clearly Metcalf school

Despite Frisco being a conservative city with blacks making up only 8.82% of the population (archive), three of the seven (42%) school board members are black:
The school is just under 7% black anyway, from their own reporting

There are also a lot of future black doctors and lawyers in the school (a)

It's the Centennial Titans and the Memorial Warriors. The yellow tent is for Metcalf's team. I believe they moved it down off the bleachers to cover Austin while they tried reviving him. The blue tarp was brought up to the bleachers to cover the murder weapon after Karmelo threw it. That is not Karmelo's school, but another team at the meet. Track meets have multiple teams running at once.

It appears they should've have a tent setup (top left). Articles on the stabbing show this, including an overhead aerial shot, but I'm unsure if it's when they resumed the meet later in the week. But I'm sure the team didn't forget their tent for a meet, much less on a rainy day.

I will say that while he's been a huge cuck for most of this, their Dad actually was pissed off at Karmelo being allowed to graduate. He went to the school to talk to them, but they ignored him, requesting he schedule a meeting. So he apparently did for the next day or something, but I haven't heard anything new on that (lol @ this POV video).

It is extremely blatant what they are doing: they want to muddy the waters so that people who don't follow the news will believe that this poor black victim is the millionth victim of white supremacy

Think about it. You don't follow the news, but as a liberal with the right opinions (tm) some political stuff still crosses your social media feed on instagram, tiktok, youtube, whatever
You see the following
  • photo of black teen with sad eyes
  • newspaper titles that are ambiguous on what happened and who is the murderer
  • black family talking about hate they are receiving and their poor little, young 3.7GPA boy
  • fundraising for legal costs of the black family
  • a lot of messaging around how the white teen instigated a fight
It would take 2 seconds to find out the truth. But if you don't care, there is enough bullshit that a "liberal" person may never find out what happened.

They could ask their friends what happened and who murdered whom, but it fits so well with the overarching narrative that I think that so many people will simply assume that they have the correct idea of what happened. After all, liberals never lie!!

Basically, "we COULD do something about it, but we don't want to." If this isn't a wakeup call of how and why public schools are metaphorical prisons, nothing will.

Seriously. Expelling this kid is the absolute most braindead and easiest thing you can do.

Kid is charged with murder in the first for killing someone on campus. There is no denying his involvement in violence on school grounds. Expel him for that alone and be done with it. Make some boilerplate claim that the school condemns any and all violence of any kind any anyone committing acts of violence on school grounds will be expelled immediately and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
What got me was they had the effort to give a bureaucratic form letter of WHY they couldn't just expel or compel with the mother's request. As she said, not even a condolence for her loss that the school is indirectly endorsing from the murderer. They don't care at all.

Cliche answer, but I hope she sues the school/board. This has to be negligence at the least. They're sending a message that your child is not safe while attending their school. More than that, they won't hold anybody accountable if something does happen.

"And we set that up for the girls’ track every meet we had, so, it's just like.. and he knew he wasn't supposed to be there. "

I might be paranoid but I think that's an odd detail. Did he expect it to be the girls tent this time if that is the usual procedure? Was it the tent for the girls that competition? I was a swimmer so we had girls and boys at the meets together so I'm not sure if it would be mixed in track.

Austin’s FindAGrave (Archive)

Austin was not gangsta. The gun photo was most likely from a hunting trip.
This is just sad. This was the quintessential All American Boy, and now he's fertilizing a lawn while his killer gets made a millionaire for the trouble. If that ain't peak modern western world I don't know what is.
Basically, "we COULD do something about it, but we don't want to." If this isn't a wakeup call of how and why public schools are metaphorical prisons, nothing will.
It's not a public school issue. It's a tribal issue.

Allow me to play devil's advocate, gentlemen:

1. The Board should have responded much sooner.
2. Its next mistake was not having its attorney write the response. Its contents wouldn't have been much different, but they would have been couched in nicer, pricier language.
3. The response is cold for a reason: the Board fears any condolences could open them up to legal liability, from both sides of the issue.
4. The response immediately points out that the Board can't discuss any aspect of Karmelon's connection with the school by law.
5. But rather than end the response there - certainly a possible option - the actual policy is included.
6. If we read the policy fairly, we see that Karnation was given the choice between expulsion and early graduation, consistent with prior practice.
7. As noted upthread, Karmelanin somehow had sufficient credits to graduate which, again by law, entitle him to graduate. He'll receive a diploma (in the mail) but is barred from school grounds.
8. Reading some sort of race war agenda into the Board's actions is dumb.

tl;dr They handled it poorly because they're shit-scared of getting sued. No need to read anything further into it.

The feral nigger had rape in his mind and when he saw Chad Metcalf, his nigger mind got confused, because he was aroused, like most male closeted niggers, he killed the thing confusing his sexual urges. Many such cases.
