There's no denying that the low-budget style of his content initially drew people in, but the problem is he thought he could do it forever and make a huge profit. Then, when things didn't pan out how he wanted to he deicide to give a big fat fuck you to his fans and call them trash if they weren't donating to him. That was arguably his biggest mistake. I mean the guy had people sending him hundreds of dollars just to put his unkempt ass on camera and maybe play some games. But no, it wasn't enough. That's SilentRob for ya.
The thing was, it never really stopped being profitable. Rob just stopped doing it. He became too lazy, mentally ill, and strung out on drugs to do it anymore. He streamed less and less, and then he started putting out horror videos and AI slop that no one wants to see. Then it was the 8 dollar fiasco. Then it was time to crash out and burn everything down.

As soon as Rob started posting his "new channel direction" content, I knew exactly where all of this was going to go. I knew that Rob was not going to get any views on this stuff and he was not going to take it well. It was just a goddamn ticking time bomb. This is Rob we're talking about. I knew he was not going to look at the situation with any maturity or humility. I knew he was going to take it personally. I knew he was going to get bitter, resentful, spiteful, angry, and upset. That is exactly what happened.
Oh, for sure. I can't think of one instance where Rob looked at any online controversy with maturity or humility. He clearly never got help for his raging narcissism, and a narcissistic meltdown was always right around the corner.
