Oh good, another app I didn’t ask for that I can’t delete unless I perform a ritual involving three settings menus and a goat.

Goodness, that's me and Motorola because for whatever reason, the Moto app had permission to download and install apps automatically, bypassing consent from my end entirely. Got so pissed because I didn't ask for this shit and I was so over waking up to three random ass apps installed on my phone overnight. Had to fiddle with some settings to kill it.
Nowadays, I just get unwanted notifications. It's better than random ass apps.
I keep getting this ad on Spotify for "BetterHelp" which is an online therapy service. The lady's voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard (kinda, it's a really nasally "soft-spoken" voice) and I've always been vehemently against therapy shit from my own past experiences with it.
Didn't they get sued because the therapists on there had no idea what they were doing?
I don't know if they were sued, but it did come out that they were massively incompetent and unethical in regards to proper therapy services.
Hasn't stopped a bunch of YouTubers from sponsoring them nowadays, though.
Online ads in general have just gotten completely intolerable. Everytime I see one now cause my adblock doesn't work it just reminds me of how all advertising execs deserve to get punched.
That's me and TEMU.
I have never ever downloaded the app, nor have I bought anything from it. Neither that nor Shien yet I am bombarded with the ads, especially TEMU and it's the worst. Lots of text-to-speech in my native language and lots of false advertising like "Buy fifteen pieces of garbage and get a free tablet that's totally real and true!"
How about fucking no. And leave me alone, already.
Even when I go to the Google App Store, it pops up right there, "sponsored". Could you fuck off for a second? I'd rather have those family friendly pajeet money laundering bank ads or whatever the fuck is with the "shorts stories".
So, suppose my thread tax is overexposure to a certain kind of brand. It certainly won't make me give in. I am proficient in malicious disobedience in that regard.
In addition, I wish people would stop treating me like I'm some kind of elitist snob because I refuse to touch TEMU and Shien.
"But it's so cheap! You can get everything there! What is wrong with you?"
Bitch, there is a reason why TEMU as an adjective is a pejorative.
