Also what kind of NVME. You mentioned M.2 drives, but do you have a backplane for EDSFF or U.2/U.3 drives? Some of the EDSFF or U.3 NVME will likely have better read/write endurance than M.2 as they are designed for the datacenter.

I actually misspoke and I think that the server has a front-facing wall of storage device slots, almost all SATA, but also a U.3 form factor in like one spot,. I think that is what burned out before. I have to investigate. I have someone I trust I can send in to figure out wtf is even on the device currently as I don't have documentation for it.

I want a 10Gbps router that can fit a full cab on it btw, if you have a suggestion let me know but I think my network confidants are partial to Linksys.

FWIW i like mikrotik because it punches above it's weight for the cost. if you go with ubiquiti/cisco you're gay.

I think I'm more thrilled by the results of this fundraiser than the one for the lawsuits, and I was pretty dang thrilled for that one. This is truly giving from the heart, "freewill offerings", and a sign of the trust so many of us have in Null's honesty and integrity. Not that I'd be upset if he bought himself a pizza with ranch dressing or hollandaise or whatever abomination he indulges in, or a cheese board full of delicious international cheeses.
