I'm unsure how labor laws work for working girls, but I'm pretty sure that a whore can quit one brothel and work at another. Assuming Russ can get his brothel up and running, what's stopping whores from leaving his brothel and working at Gillman's?
Well, you know Russell, he's convinced he can create such a superior brothel, with those poor working women in mind, that they will be flocking to his brothel and never want to leave. He figures the ones working for Gilman will flock to his brother flop house. He probably believes he can convince whores from around the world to come work for him since his brothel flop house will be that much better. He's that delusional.
It's got a cat in it because it's a cathouse, a slang term for a brothel. It's kind of olde time-y, but still modern enough. Another old time term for brothels is a bawdy house or bawd crib. That's more of an Old West term for i
Clearly it is a whorehouse/cat shelter.
I like "porneon." It's where he got the name "Mile High Neon."
He may or may not be aware that a porneon was a place of forced prostitution.
"Porneon" sounds like an X-rated Pokemon.
I'm almost certain you're not allowed to use initials when listing managing members, which would put the business out of compliance with requirements.
Hopefully Hardin or someone that can bring him information, reading this thread, there is a ton of new information from just one weekend that he should probably review.
I'd recommend watching Emergency! - the OG of paramedic shows - if it's available on a digital subchannel near you, even if it may seem a bit dated from originally airing back in the 70s.
It is a really good show, I can second this.
