Emergency personnel are responding to an explosion near the American Reproductive Centers building in Palm Springs, California.
The incident has rattled homes and startled residents, part of the USA TODAY Network, reported. Some residents are reporting smoke and an odor, according to the outlet.
Palm Springs Police Department told the Desert Sun said the explosion at about 11 a.m. local time in downtown Palm Springs, which was felt as far as 2 miles away, appears to be a car explosion by the American Reproductive Centers clinic. Lt. William Hutchinson said that there appears to be at least one fatality.
"Everything is in question, whether this is an act of terrorism," he said on the scene.
Palm Springs Police and Fire crews are currently on the scene. The city of Palm Springs advised residents to stay away from the area so that emergency crews can work the incident.
According to it's website, American Reproductive Centers started in 2006 and is "Coachella Valley’s first and only full-service fertility center & IVF lab."

This is a developing story

As for motive, it looks to me like a suicide pact, with this Sophie twat at the center. Seems like she convinced her two bfs that once the one she lived with executed her that the online one would blow up the clinic. Beyond that it's just internet edgelord psychobabble and some inceldom thrown in for good measure. Don't try to comprehend it beyond that or your brain will explode out of your skull. It's the philosophical equivalent of successfully dividing by zero.
It's sad that's this is another example of technology/the internet amplifying philosophies or ideologies that were once considered inappropriate, fringe or insane that affect people, whatever the reason, who are already predisposed to self-destructive, bizarre and schizoid behavior. Pretty that TPTB take notice and not only allow it but help it along to suit whatever nefarious agenda(s) they want to promote. Case in point:
Anyone see the reddit r/News thread? They seriously believe right off the bat that it was a Trump-aligne anti-abortion Christian who bombed the IVF clinic.
and it's a given other groups or ideologies that have nothing to do with these psychos will be blamed as well.

Nihilist?
The experts really nailed this trend. Here's an article I posted in the 764 thread a couple months ago:

Experts warn that recent school shootings show growth in new radicalization pattern (archive)
"It's almost like they're little fandoms, and there's hierarchies, and in each one there are these people that are trying to push their victims to do more and more extreme harm to themselves for clout," said Mack Lamoureux, a former reporter for Vice News, who spent a year investigating 764.

"We've seen that they've been connected to kind of nihilistic, accelerationism, misanthropic stuff," he said. "They've been connected to some occult groups, and they've been connected to neo-Nazism. But at the heart of it, it truly seems to be misanthropy and nihilism."
Antinatalism is a very specific flavor this time though. He kneecapped that community. Reddit thread is going swell:

View attachment 7375434

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - Firefighters are at the scene of an explosion at a building in Palm Springs Saturday morning.

The explosion was first reported at around 11 a.m. at American Reproductive Centers on N Indian Canyon, near E Tachevah Drive, according to city officials.

Several viewers reported hearing a loud explosion throughout the area.
Authorities request that residents stay away from the area so that emergency crews can work on the incident.

Details remain limited, we have reached out to the Palm Springs Fire and Police departments for details. A News Channel 3 crew is at the scene working on getting information.

That looks internal not external. The details are probably already out later in the thread but i'm coming from the first page. Hope for a surprise?

These facilities have quite a bit of chemicals and things under temp/pressure.

I hate anti-natalists. They should just kill themselves.

This.. Total scum! Is this really what people are looking at or just speculating?

EDIT: holy shit, it is one of those types..

This shit is finally maturing. The world, tech and media ignored these idiots for years, decades. They were already pretty fucking battshit as far back as the early 00s.

This is also a result of all the fearmongering and anti-human, pro-eco propaganda and general extremism. Can't wait for the "his heart/motivations were in the right place" comments on places like reddit. Now that he officially did it for an acceptable cause.

Vegans often join batshit cults. Ever notice how many cults encourage or require a vegan diet?
I'm reminded of the theory that unleavened bread leads to a lack of zinc, which is why everyone in the middle east is perpetually unhinged. Maybe the same thing - or something similar - happens to vegans?
🤔
Edit: @Otterly this seems like your bailiwick, any thoughts?

I was always a little confused why 764 keeps getting referred to as "far right" in the news considering most of their members are troons and they're aggressively atheistic.
Because journos cannot conceptualize the idea that violence and organized extremist groups aren’t somehow Nazis. No matter how obvious it is that the vast majority of organized violence and property damage in the U.S. is being perpetuated by leftists and their NPC’s. None of that matters. Somehow, it can only be explained as the nebulous, ever expanding “far right.”

I'm not saying we should throw out law and order just because of a single terrorist attack, but *if* they started rounding up all of these coddled "anti-natalist", "anti-life" idiots and putting them in extermination camps, safe to say the rest of them would change their minds about the intractable burden of life pretty sharpish. Really the whole anti-natalist "movement" is a joke that has no answer to why they can't just opt out of it all by offing themselves, there's plenty of completely painless DIY methods so they have no excuse.

Glaring Adam's apple in the second photo, not that that's the only way you can tell with this one. Obvious troon is obvious.
The adams apple is barely visible despite being thin as a rail. I'm still betting on not a tranny.

You can look through the 764 thread and ctrl + F nazi and while quite a few do espouse nazi ideology, or claim to be nazis, it's probably them trying to seem as edgy as possible.

If someone said, "Hey, a guy just suicide bombed an IVF clinic" and asked me to give three guesses as to the motive, they'd be as follows:
  1. Leftoid: an antinatalist r/childfree one, one that thinks having kids is literally murdering the planet because of muh environment, or one that believes pregnancy centers literally tie up women and force them to birth rape babies (lots of them believe this)
  2. Mentally ill employee or former employee
  3. Extremely niche Christian fundie that thinks IVF and surrogacy are of the antichrist or something
Only the first two even hold water. That kind of fundie barely even exists and people who attend pastor jim's bible church don't have the wherewithal to make explosives. It would never even occur to me it was any kind of even very-niche-heretical-christian.

My first thought was, "Oh it's one of those guys from reddit who think Rust Cohle is the coolest guy ever. Probably a tranny." I wasn't too far off the mark. I'm not a genius, it's just incredibly obvious.

These guys think they're so genius and original when they've literally inadvertently reinvented an old crpg villain.

Bonus points that one of the potential ways to resolve the final boss is pretty much asking them "Have you thought about just killing yourself, bro?" to which they respond "You know what, you have a point."

What is it about vegans that makes them crazy? Does the lack of meat really affect their brains? Seems to be a pattern.
Veganism is not simply a diet choice or taste preference - it is a lifestyle choice, if not a religion.

There's a lot of people who are mostly vegetarian for various reasons and they don't cause any problems. If someone is vegan, 90% of the time it's based on morality if not radical beliefs regarding animals and the environment.

Remember: vegans don't simply just not eat meat or fish...they also don't eat eggs, dairy, or even honey. It often doesn't matter if the honey or eggs you're presenting them with has been verifiably "sustainably sourced..." they still won't touch it because humans have no right to use it or whatever. To them, there is no way to consume or use these products ethically.

Eh fundies can learn things too. I initially thought that it might be because the IVF place was LGBWTFBBQ friendly but obviously that was wrong. Definitely didn't think it was Trump's doing or any of that retarded shit though. It's just so fucking rare for EMO faggots to actually do anything other than bitch and moan. I'd be interested to know how he got the knowledge to make the bomb though. It's not THAT hard to find that shit online and anyone with some experience in Chemistry can figure out that if something is volatile that means boom.

Actually a lot of American conservatives hold the anti-IVF view because they feel it's unnatural, you're also more likely to see people against it in the case for surrogacy especially with gay couples.

This is just beyond absurd lol. This, along with the mixing up the beliefs of anti-natalism and and this extinctionism ad the misinterpreting of practically every single view expressed or not expressed makes a lot of the people in these comments seem particularly unfit for actually discussing this nutcase and his actions.

This but also the fact that he's from 29 Palms (big Marine base) makes all the conspiracy theory people shit their pants.

This stupid faggot blew himself up outside the hospital my relative was in. They locked it down and I couldn't get in to see my terminally ill family member. I hope it hurt like hell for bart.
Assuming the photo posted in a spoiler tag up-thread is accurate he probably didn't feel much as he turned himself into a pile of sphagetthi but at least he didn't kill or injure anyone else with his insanity. I hope you will get to see your loved one soon or have already gotten an opportunity to since the incident.

Last act of his life, wants to create the spark that destroys all of humanity, assembles an arguably competent bomb, doesn't think to drive into the building. Cucked by parking lot.

mixing up the beliefs of anti-natalism and and this extinctionism
The anti-natalists can disclaim this guy all day, but it's a short walk from their ideology to "pro-mortalism". I don't think we'll see many copycats though. This is about as niche as it gets, and most them are all talk, no action.

NO EMBRYOS were harmed after an anti pro-life terrorist bombed a Fertility Clinic in Palm Springs, per DOJ
This is nothing short of a miracle.
The only fatality was the terrorist himself, who wrote a leftist, anti-life manifesto, condemning the birth of children.

anti-sex = volcel buddy
That's like saying a solid log and diarrhea aren't both shit. Look at him. He was an angry little soylent piece of shit no one liked because he had no redeeming qualities, that's why he was "anti life". These losers always make their bullshit excuses but it always comes down to them wanting attention in the end.
