Emergency personnel are responding to an explosion near the American Reproductive Centers building in Palm Springs, California.
The incident has rattled homes and startled residents, part of the USA TODAY Network, reported. Some residents are reporting smoke and an odor, according to the outlet.
Palm Springs Police Department told the Desert Sun said the explosion at about 11 a.m. local time in downtown Palm Springs, which was felt as far as 2 miles away, appears to be a car explosion by the American Reproductive Centers clinic. Lt. William Hutchinson said that there appears to be at least one fatality.
"Everything is in question, whether this is an act of terrorism," he said on the scene.
Palm Springs Police and Fire crews are currently on the scene. The city of Palm Springs advised residents to stay away from the area so that emergency crews can work the incident.
According to it's website, American Reproductive Centers started in 2006 and is "Coachella Valley’s first and only full-service fertility center & IVF lab."

This is a developing story

That's like saying a solid log and diarrhea aren't both shit. Look at him. He was an angry little soylent piece of shit no one liked because he had no redeeming qualities, that's why he was "anti life". These losers always make their bullshit excuses but it always comes down to them wanting attention in the end.
you can be all of that and still a volcel

Since there's nothing actually written about this guy, here's a bit of a bio:

The perpetrator's name is Guy Edward Bartkus. He graduated from Yucca Valley High School in 2018. He has one twin(?) sister, Regina L. Bartkus, and his parents are Dianne Nannette Bartkus and Richard Edward Bartkus. Evidence shows that he might have gone to one of the schools in Waterbury, CT.

Beyond this I cannot find any social media for him or his sister, and his parents' Facebook accounts don't give much to work with. This information was found from looking into graduating classes in the general area of Twentynine Palms. I'm not going into his retarded beliefs because other people already have. I'm confident something could be found through other avenues, but I'm not sure I care enough to look.

Not even fox news is saying this loser had "leftist ideologies" why do you idiots always feel the need to cloud up the damn water by making up bullshit?
Every time there's a mass shooting / terror attack wingcucks very desperately want it to be able to blame it on their opponents marseywingcuck.webp

Last act of his life, wants to create the spark that destroys all of humanity, assembles an arguably competent bomb, doesn't think to drive into the building. Cucked by parking lot.

The anti-natalists can disclaim this guy all day, but it's a short walk from their ideology to "pro-mortalism". I don't think we'll see many copycats though. This is about as niche as it gets, and most them are all talk, no action.
It both is and isn't. I mean look at the differences between the childfree, antinatalism, and mortalists. Child-free is usually deciding not to have kids because you can't handle it personally, are too broke, or are mentally incapable of raising a child. The anti-natalists can get a bit more extreme at having views like being against being born because of consent or whatever, and possibly seeing humans as bad. The mortalists on the other hand are just anti-life, to the point where even animals are le bad for being alive. While some in this thread would like to say the child-free people are related, I think they're totally unrelated, the anti-natalists and mortalists are purely ideological/philosophical, where as the child-free's are mainly material.
Not even fox news is saying this loser had "leftist ideologies" why do you idiots always feel the need to cloud up the damn water by making up bullshit?
Every time something horrific happens there needs to be a political ideology behind it, and it never is someones own ideology that did it of course. This same thing happened with that shooter in Florida or the guy who tried to kill Trump, what's cathartic is usually it's hardly politically coherent, because the type of people who would do such things are rarely keeping a grasp on reality.

Alleged manifesto:

His manifesto pushes this idea of a universal right to die, claiming everyone should be able to exit life, sick or not, because existence is inherently miserable. He says most people are suffering, but that’s nonsense—plenty of people find life worth living, so he doesn’t get to dictate that we shouldn’t reproduce just because he hates being here. His logic falls apart when he compares birth to raping an unconscious girl, arguing you can’t consent to being born, just like she can’t consent while unconscious. That’s a ridiculous leap. An existing person can wake up and give or withhold consent, but a non-existent entity? It doesn’t exist to ask! You can’t compare creating life to violating someone who’s already here. It’s like he’s twisting consent to fit his anti-life agenda.
He also admits that taking your own life—by shooting, hanging, or drinking poison—is scary and insists society should provide a “graceful” way to die. That infuriates me. If you don’t have the guts to end your suffering, you don’t deserve an easy way out. Nobody’s forcing you to live, especially if you’re a healthy person. If you want to die, remove yourself, don’t expect others to compromise their morals or emotions to do it for you. Hesitation means some part of you still wants to live, so don’t put that burden on anyone else.
That said, I get that some people, like those with ALS, might truly be incapable of acting for themselves. ALS is a brutal disease that progressively paralyzes you, leaving you unable to move, speak, or even breathe, with no cure or recovery possible. For them, I’d support a system—a machine where you flip a switch to end it, even if you’re completely paralyzed. Tech could use brain signals or eye movements, whatever still works, to let you make that choice. But you’d have to pass a mental test to prove you’re clear-headed, not coerced or depressed, because that’s a valid concern. If someone with ALS knows their diagnosis early, they could decide before they’re fully locked in, and with this system in place, future sufferers could choose early too. For those who can’t, time will sort it out—they’ll face their natural end.
Rights, though? They’re just words on paper, not some cosmic truth. Still, Bartkus’s idea that everyone, even healthy people, deserves the right to die is flawed. No one’s chaining you to life. If you’re healthy and want out, do it yourself—don’t demand society hand you a cushy exit. His whole “society should provide” shtick is entitlement, plain and simple.

"Life is shit so dont even try" is absolutely stereotypical coping loser sentiment, which is why antinatalist death cultists are the weakest worms you'll ever dig up from the Internet - with this one coincidentally also proving the physiognamy people correct once again
I feel very confident in my statement that he was probably an incel. "If I can't get what I want out of life then no one else should either" is always the justification these worthless subhumans give themselves for their evil deeds. They're just entitled narcissistic sociopaths and they never make any attempts to improve either themselves or their "shitty" usually middle/upper middle class lives.

Not only is he a massive retard but the bigger crime is he's a Californian pseudo intellectual. Disturbed and mind broken from demoralization for most of his life so the cope is to make out the world is so bad and everyone needs to die. Just kill yourself and be done with it without going in circles that what you're doing will have some purpose. They're always very contradictory because they are depressed and need a reason to do something insane, their belief system is about convenience. None of these people read books, none of them can formulate an argument and none of them has ever been even slightly objectively correct with anything they've said that strays away from the most normie opinion. I believe if people like this find God and meet people in a place like church they might not do this dumb aimless shit, or at least join some knitting club or some shit.

Apparently this is a photo of the bomber. Not sure if it's legit but the account that posted it has been covering this event pretty hard.

They're always mutts. Look at these brownoids.
I have spent 62 hours in Microsoft Paint creating this diagram of my views on antinatalism.
None of these stupid motherfuckers even understand antinatalism as a philosophy presented by Schopenhauer[*] because they're too dumb to read. Suicide or homicide are never a solution to the problem of existence because existence itself is the problem.

The problem of existence is not solved by idiotic, violent bullshit from morons. The existential problem is, literally, by the definition, existence itself. Existence itself is the problem.

No forms of violence address, in any way, the fundamental issue that merely existing at all is the problem. Ending your existence does not erase the problem of existence, because existence is measured in a frame of time. Suicide does not solve the existential issue. Merely having been forced to exist is the problem. A suicide that merely ends one's own existence while actually actively harming everyone who knew you and loved you, thus making their existences worse, is the absolute opposite of solving it.

The issue of existence is insoluble.

Whatever. I don't expect retards to understand the concept at all. It's wrong, imo, but the reasoning to figure out why it's wrong is a bit more complicated than breeder retards think.

[*]Rather than another Schopenhauer argument I will point out I agree the dude is such an insufferable asshole that even his own mom pointed out he was a complete autist.

She literally wrote this to him in a letter.

You are not an evil human; you are not without intellect and education; you have everything that could make you a credit to human society. Moreover, I am acquainted with your heart and know that few are better, but you are nevertheless irritating and unbearable, and I consider it most difficult to live with you.

All of your good qualities become obscured by your super-cleverness and are made useless to the world merely because of your rage at wanting to know everything better than others; of wanting to improve and master what you cannot command. With this you embitter the people around you, since no one wants to be improved or enlightened in such a forceful way, least of all by such an insignificant individual as you still are; no one can tolerate being reproved by you, who also still show so many weaknesses yourself, least of all in your adverse manner, which in oracular tones, proclaims this is so and so, without ever supposing an objection.

If you were less like you, you would only be ridiculous, but thus as you are, you are highly annoying.

You don’t know what that word incel means. Involuntary Celibacy was not a motivating factor. He saw all humans as filth, and thought life itself was pointless. No woman hate mentioned.

Father of Palm Springs explosion suspect details son’s childhood

The father of Guy Edward Bartkus, the suspect in the Palm Springs in vitro fertilization facility explosion, says that he was “shocked” when a relative reached out and said his son was implicated in the bombing.

Speaking to the New York Times, Richard Bartkus said that he hadn’t seen his son in a decade. He told NYT that, growing up, Guy liked “tinkering with small model rockets” and once set the family’s home on fire while playing with matches when he was nine years old.

As a teenager, Guy would make “smoke bombs” and “stink bombs” but never anything “major.”

“Nothing like a ‘bomb’ bomb, but he’d build rockets [and] shoot them in the air,” Richard Bartkus told the outlet.

The New York Times reported that Bartkus, 75, said that his son was always “impressionable” and had often allowed himself to be “drawn in by friends who got him into trouble,” mentioning a time when one of Guy’s friends – whose parents owned a demolition yard – talked him into smashing cars there.

Guy was also a “pretty good shot” since the elder Bartkus taught him how to use firearms.

“If he told you he was going to hit the ‘C’ on a Coke can, he’d hit the ‘C’ on the Coke can,” Richard said. “Whatever he put his mind to, he was pretty good.”

Guy Edward Bartkus as seen in a photo released by the FBI.
By the time Guy reached his teens, he was building computers and working with special needs children, his father elaborated.

“He wasn’t dumb, but he wasn’t a leader,” Richard, who, according to NYT is a resident of Yucca Valley, said. “He was a follower. If somebody came along and said this was a good idea, he’d probably go along with it.”

The Associated Press reported before Guy Edward Bartkus was formally identified that he posted “rambling online writings” before the incident; at a press conference on Sunday, officials said said Bartkus harbored “nihilistic ideations” and that they were “tracking a possible manifesto” that could be connected to the targeted attack, which authorities also said may have been live streamed.

The explosion outside American Reproductive Centers, located at 1199 North Indian Canyon Road in Palm Springs, occurred around 11 a.m. Saturday. The blast caused extensive damage to the building and injured at least four people; however, all embryos, eggs and other materials remained intact, clinic officials and law enforcement confirmed.

he thought birth was rape. he hated women more than typical femicidal, like
All birth is rape
everyone is rapebaby
women give birth
all women that give birth r rapists

Incel is use today as slur against womanhater. not like origin word. Like nazi used contra kiwi tho many are not nation socialist.

life he not seen pointless, but drug. Took high on life literaly. Think if darwin theory evolution was peyote cult not science. Point of life was smoking it. He see self like lifesober and everyone else lifedrunk.

If anything he would have been a VOCEL (voluntarily celibate)

As much as some people want to think that this world is going to become some light shade of brown and everyone will get along that is simply untrue. People have been and always will be very tribal in nature. Mixed people generally get shit on by both sides and thus have the potential to turn out quite poorly unless they have good parenting and a strong sense of self. A lot of mixed kids have shit parents or only one parent so they are starting life off in a hole that can prove impossible to climb out of unless they simply go "fuck it" and stop caring about what other people say. Which is actually quite hard to do. We are social animals and it's in our DNA to care about our surroundings.
