It's been a long week, but I had a second.

I was about to make the one that looks like an old butler (you know the one), but ended up with these 3:

By the way, it was also easy for me to see pre-eclipse Griffith in that one, and the girl, come on, you look at that shape and you already know she needs to have big eyes and a wide grin. Only saying this because I know it kind of looks like the one from Boots N' Cats.

Posting this for my friend again, she was absent from the challenges for a while due to having some other art deadlines, but is back to joining.
Her feedback: Really enjoyed this one, it felt more an art exercise to improve a specific skill than just a creative assignment, like the last challenge I did that had the colour palettes and monsters for you to roll for. I'll keep joining when I'm not otherwise busy, and just FIY, please keep posting the announcements in the community happenings. If the KFs station server can do it, so can this!

As for my piece, I decided to stick to the 'do not go outside the lines' very faithfully, and the first thing that came to mind for some reason, was the old game Grim Fandango. I thought of this as designing characters for it, but with more head variety than the actual game had.

My ass just thought the shapes looked like mcdicks chicken nuggets

Hello kiwi koloreds kolorers!

As your humble koloring volunteer, I'm pleased to bring you this week's challenge:

Ordinary to Extraordinary!

Your goal is to take a household item and make it into something new while maintaining the integrity of said item. Reimagine a wrench into a dragon skeleton, a sock into a rat's sleeping bag, or maybe deadly weapons out of silverware.

This challenge will hopefully help you see everyday objects from a new perspective. When you take something boring and turn it into something weird or fantastic, it can get you thinking in new ways about form, function, and design.

--------

Do's:
✅ Pick a real everyday object most people would have in their homes (food, cooking/eating utensils, garden equipment, computer gear, bedding, so on)
✅ Keep the original object mostly recognizable
✅ Use any tools on hand
✅ Pick any style or medium

Don'ts:
❌ Don't draw a still life
❌ Don't use objects inaccessible to most people (industrial equipment, vintage or obsolete technology, ceremonial objects, and so on)
❌ Don't over complicate it
❌ Don't involve random animals, objects, or lolcows unless they incorporate your chosen object

Optional:
🐮Base it on your favorite lolcow (or an object related to them)

--------

Here are some starter ideas. Feel free to choose from, or modify, one of the following:

A toaster into a robot
A controller/keyboard into a sword
An umbrella into a jellyfish
A shoe into a home for a family of crickets
A lamp into a lighthouse
A coffee mug into a witch's cauldron
A spoon into a mirror for an animal or fantasy creature

Here are a couple of examples:

This challenge will run for two weeks (or until, like last time, the next volunteer is ready). Have fun! I'm excited to see what people can come up with.

I have to commend the bravery of farmers who post here because a drawing thread seems like the fastest way to self-dox.
You don't have to be "brave" if there's nothing to be afraid about. I'm not interesting at all (I think). So, even if you managed to find my identity I don't think there'd be much laughs to be had.

But yeah, as @Double Taps said: In general, posting images online can genuinely expose a lot of information about you. Search online for "EXIF" if you want to learn more.

As long as you scrub meta data from the file along with not posting it anywhere outside of here, should be alright. That reminds me of wanting to update the Op-sec section, thanks for that.
Haha no I was referring to people recognizing your art style! I have no sympathy for anyone doxxxxxxed by their phone's stalker child settings.

I might be diverting a bit from the prompt since lucky bamboo is probably not a totally common thing in everyone's home but
1. It's in mine
2. BAMBOO DRAGON!

Also to weigh in on the Dox/Powerleveling talk- I don't mind if all of you guys find me elsewhere online off of my artstyle, but what we *do* need to be concerned with is the reverse happening. There's probably at least one troon with enough time and mental illness to go through all our art threads reverse google searching shit to see what connections they can make.

I think bamboo is a common enough house plant/ornamental garden plant that it counts :) plus it's used for a ton of different household things (flooring, furniture, kitchen equipment, even in things you wouldn't expect like bamboo threaded sheets, I could keep going on lol).

Well done! This looks gorgeous.

I've been a member of community that have been devoured by troons' degeneracy and these fuckers are well aware I'm on Farms. I don't really care. If anything, they are petty little shits who are afraid of facing reality and come here and face me on the ground where their "power flex" is null and void.
