IMO don't ever ask some random to spot you, most people don't know how even if they look like they might, and you're putting your life in the hands of a total stranger and given the amount of envy I've seen going around gyms (increasingly so in the past years) there are people out there who will try to fuck you up. You don't even need the safeties, just learn how to do the 'roll of shame', it's quite easy but I think these lifters panic and that's where they fuck up.. I don't feel it's fair to call them stupid, just unprepared. I've done roll of shame many times, I think some people might be too self concious and think people might laugh at them for failing but you should be more fearful of not trying than failing. Stay safe.

Members of the Grupo Operativo Barredora, which is linked to drug lord Ismael Zambada 'Mayito Placo' Sicairos, interrogate a plaza leader of CJNG and then after they finish him off. The captive, who is apparently the head of the CJNG plaza in Nanchital, Agua Dulce, and Las Choapas municipalities, gives out information on the CJNG stealing fuel from a ranch.

Operativo Barredora says they arrived in Veracruz to get rid of CJNG, since they claim they come to help defend the tranquillity of the region, whilst the CJNG does the exact opposite by committing extortions, kidnappings, and murders against innocents.

Musician fatally stabbed during argument outside a bar - Porto Alegre do Norte, Brazil (2025.05.17)

Musician Guilherme Moreira de Lima, 34, a member of the pagode group “Só Resenha”, was murdered with approximately six stab wounds from a knife on Saturday night (17) in Porto Alegre do Norte (MT).

The crime occurred around 6 pm, in a bar in the city, after an argument between Guilherme and Cledinaldo Oliveira da Silva, 38, who is believed to be the perpetrator of the homicide and is currently on the run.

According to images recorded by a security camera installed at the scene, both were visibly drunk. At a certain point during the argument, Cledinaldo pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the abdomen, but the victim did not react.

Guilherme was taken to the Municipal Hospital of Confresa, but he did not survive his injuries and died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The Civil Police are investigating the case, and searches are underway to locate the suspect.

I think it's harder to use too much rope, like most people just hang themselves in a closet or room where there isn't enough room for a decapitation drop. There was an official chart made for hangmen back in the 1880's to get the ideal of a broken neck based on the weight of the prisoner.

You might be right because I looked at casino shootings on YouTube, and there’s a lot of news stories of shootings happening at casinos in the US. But I guess that footage never gets out because of legal and privacy reasons. Also I’m pretty sure most of these slots in Latam countries are owned by the cartels.

The weird thing about that influencer getting shot is that it seems it was another influencer who put the hit on her over some bullshit they had online, apparently she even gave her the toy she's holding before she began the stream.

Piece of plywood launches from machine and strikes worker on the head - Roorkee, India (2025.05.18 )

An employee working in a plywood factory located in Makdumpur of Mangalore Kotwali area died suddenly on Sunday.

After the accident, the family members created a ruckus accusing the factory management of negligence. The police, who reached the spot on information, took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem and started investigation.

The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Janak son of Dharam Singh, a resident of Chaundaheri. He was working as a machine operator in the Premet Plywood Factory.

Janak was working on the machine when a piece of ply suddenly hit his face. He fainted on the spot.

Colleagues immediately rushed him to Vinay Vishal Hospital in Roorkee, where doctors declared him dead. As soon as the family reached the hospital after getting the news of the death, a ruckus started there.

The family alleges that there are no safety arrangements in the factory. The employees are neither given helmets nor other safety gear.

On receiving the information about the ruckus, Mangalore and Roorkee police reached the spot and handled the situation. The family remained adamant on the demand for action against the factory management and compensation.

Jhabreda MLA Virendra Jati and Bhim Army state president Mehak Singh, who reached the spot, met the victim's family and demanded compensation from the administration.
