Creepy Unsolved Mysteries - From unsolved murders to unidentified people to unexplained supernatural events, what are some of the creepiest unsolved mysteries you've ever heard of?

My issue was more with the absolute joy killing someone brought out in him. Watch interviews with the guy after one of his killings, the guy's practically cackling with joy.
I don't think he was expressing joy in killing. He's just always been a weirdo in terms of his public conduct even before he advocated for and practiced assisted suicide. I always thought his odd personality was mostly due to him having grown up as a complete intellectual outsider (he was one of those kid geniuses who couldn't really connect with his peers), which may have made it difficult for him to reflect on how his behavior is perceived by normal people.

The other thing is that he always wanted to be a showman, like an actual stage performer.

I think he was a serial killer who stumbled upon a way to kill with semi-impunity. His affect was bizarre and inappropriate. Someone just died by your hand, don't giggle and fondle yourself through your pocket. Don't act so much like you've won the lottery.

Kevorkian always made me uncomfortable. Then I actually saw his artwork, and after that I'm in full agreement with you. There's a timeline not too far off from this one where his stuff is put right next to Gacy's clowns as "disturbing serial killer paintings." There aren't a lot of good reasons to go to Zak Bagan's museum in Las Vegas, but he's got a Kevorkian exhibit that will make your hair stand up, and none of it's due to Zak's bullshit showmanship. The paintings are disturbed, and when you see the beat up old Volkswagen van where he ended his patients' lives you'll wonder why anyone thought this guy was a good choice to shepherd someone to the grave.

I got some stuff that are perfect for listening only while working. My "watch later" list getting way too long its cooked lol.

Here is a good ice berg list on forgotten civilizations and another ice berg about historical "out of place" artifacts from the same dude.

This one is the "ultimate unsolved mysteries" ice berg, literally has all kinds of mysteries.

And just for jokes, i found this really dope X-Files lore channel.
Do you have any where the narrator sounds like a human and not TTS
some kind of age limit though like 50-60
>50-60
Is "cook your own food and go for a walk every day" illegal in flyover country or something

Most of his "killings" weren't him killing anyone directly, but just providing them the means. That's why he got away with it for so long, and was tried three times without being convicted (he assisted in at least 130 deaths). The guy who he got convicted for had Lou Gehrig's disease, someone who was literally incapable of operating his death machine.

While he appeared to take an inordinate amount of glee in his activities (and the pictures are rare of him not smiling so he may have just been a really cheerful guy), I don't think he's ever been accused credibly of grooming people into it or taking on anyone who didn't really want to end it all, usually for good reasons.

That said I agree on the MAID thing. Canada has shown how dystopian and psychotic this can be, where "lol kill yourself" is considered medical advice for "I got a blister" (only a slight exaggeration). The government should have no involvement at all in any decriminalization, much less set up a death bureau to recommend undesirables snuff it.

He wasn't. He was more just the only guy. That picture you posted is far from the most disturbing of his paintings.

I read an interview with an engineer who got hands-on time with Kevorkian's death machines, and he was shocked by just how poorly put-together they were.
which says a lot considering how easy it is to duct tape a garden hose from a exhaust pipe and drape it in the car
that's how Coleman Francis "killed himself"

Unsolved Mysteries rewatch and damn the first 8-9 seasons had fantastic production design. It helps they were shot on film.

The Cindy James case, apparently they left a bit out. Apparently she was either being harassed by or in a relationship with some crazy doctor. (Also hello her moms thick accent) To think she was able to basically kill herself including the ropes and way she was found and everything is comical in a dark way. Police back then were kinda stupid.

Betty Cash and Vickie Landrum made up their UFO shit. Upon rewatching it a second time, its glaringly obvious that they conned their way to a lawsuit. The quote unquote symptoms they have are.....kinda bullshit. Betty had alopecia, not cancer as she claimed. Seems they got sunburned on purpose to make it appear that they had cancer after all.

There's another interesting UFO case that is not included in the remasters. The Gulf Breeze UFO incident. Ed Walters is a crazy man.

The Cindy James case is disturbing as hell.

It reminds me of mystery author Raymond Chandler's observation about the perplexing Julia Wallace murder in 1930s England, where her husband was tried, found guilty, and later exonerated. Chandler said, "I call it the impossible murder because Wallace couldn’t have done it, and neither could anyone else."

Cindy couldn't have done all that stuff herself without getting caught, and neither could anyone else.

She didn't have severed limbs. Her limb and spine were broken but not severed. Still no one knows what happened.
I can tell you exactly what happened: she said "no" to a number of Arab princelings, who then felt it necessary to teach the keffir whore a lesson that she'd remember for the rest of her life... even if the remainder of that life turned out to be very brief.

She might have gone to Dubai and genuinely, naively, stupidly, thought she was attending an 'influencer party' and that she was there to make contacts and material for the 'gram, or she might have gone there knowing what kind of party it was, but severely underestimated just how depraved a combination Islam, unlimited money and power is, and tried to turn down men who could buy twelve year old virgin pure wives for a lot cheaper than what she thought she was signing on for. Either way, she's the only one who's going to be punished for any of it.

One can only hope that after reading about this, at least some would-be influencers realise that while Dubai and its denizens may have a lot of money, some things just aren't worth the price... especially when Muslims are involved.

Ironically, looks like she might end up living quite a while, but never remember the lesson or anything else. Arabs don't have the best track record on women's education.

He's pretty good imo. As far as how it looks on his resume, well, he seems like a guy who will get the job done at least.

IDK since she's refusing to talk it sounds more like the "pimps who brought her there beat her up" story might be true. No one tortures women worse than their own countrymen, no matter what country you're in. If you say "no" to Gulf shitbags they can just throw you out of the hotel and grab a new one in 30 seconds unless something about you was so expensive that they can't exchange you for someone of equal value and appearance.

She wasn't an influencer, but a ukrainian teenage prostitute who'd never worked another job. She knows better than any of us how depraved things get.

The Saudi princelings love love love 'befriending' young resident western men (usually the sons of diplomats or oil execs, taking them to 'underground' parties, getting them drunk, and gang-raping them. Sometimes they even give them Aids, then throws them out of the country/fires their father/has the diplomat transferred and laugh about it. Sometimes they even show up at the airport and wave good-bye. Also getting western men arrested, then slipping the guards a few hundred rials to rape them. Happened to a couple of Brits, really harrowing stuff. There's disturbing documentaries about those two. Don't expect your embassy to ever help, that won't happen. Western countries are almost all energy importers, SA's an oil exporter, do the math.
