Sorry to doompost, but is there even any indication Daniel would want primary custody of Hannah? He seems like exactly the kind of Michael Schofield shitbag who would just write off the old, dysfunctional family and go start a new one. It is pretty suspicious that all this started up right after Hannah was born, when he was perfectly fine with all of Becky's behavior for the entire decade prior. Of course she went off the rails after Hannah's birth so his actions are understandable, but i'm just finding it hard to be optimistic.

Daniel was the one really pushing for IVF out of the 3 and p sure it was out of his insurance as well. This was also part of his whole desire to "prove" to his family that he was settling down and happy in his weird ass relationship.

I'm also almost certain he was the main one pushing for Bex to get therapy post PunningPundit too (bc you know Jackson would never dare on his own) - so there's been hints he is less permissive of Bex's bullshit - but otherwise fooled himself enough to fake marry her, just to prove he could settle down.

If it had just been Jackson and Bex they would have just forever continued the cycle of trying to conceive and Bex having curiously timed miscarriages for pity.

That said I was disappointed that Daniel didn't act up when Bex started collecting Fetlife losers and Jackson got into hardcore gooning at the expense of his previous job. Plus Hannah's cone head becoming a thing - the time to step in for Hannah's well being passed quite a while back.

Part of me hoped this was somewhat motivated by him being pissed that he's the only one really trying to be an active parent. Cuckson nor his parents give a singular shit about the baby that isn't their embarrassing sons, and I think Becky's parents rightly know that their grandbabys father is her best shot of safety, which they will probably value above the horror of Becky having custody. Perhaps they could work out with Daniel a better relationship visiting her.

I think he’s even more egregious for not having a single hint of a spine after her birth and allowing Becky to collect unrelated men under the same roof as his daughter. He could have vetoed at any time and said no to taking on more grown men who brought nothing but another mouth to feed to the table. I’m not calling for caveman grug here, but showing zero territorial and instinctually protective behavior towards his daughter, if not her and the woman who birthed her, is so inhuman and detached from all normality. I don’t think she’s actually referred to herself as a man for some years now. She’ll usually go for “nonbinary” or the even vaguer “queer.” She has recently described herself as a “trans parent,” but was not specific as to what she meant.

I think she abandoned the claim of being fully a guy because underneath all the social justice bullshit, she’s still someone whose self-esteem is heavily tied to her perceived sexual desirability.

Just had a look and they've actually chilled out a little bit.
There was a time, way post covid, in 2024 when they refused to see anyone who was not recently vaccinated / willing to provide a test. It got so bad that they'd gone seriously into debt and were begging online for monthly rent. Plus they were so committed larping as disabled so they refused to walk anywhere or except any help that was not larp compliant.

Last i checked they were about to be evicted and writing tearful goodby's , convinced they would perish in the germ infest air outside their apartment.
