There’s a very specific comparison that comes to mind when I hear John’s childhood anecdotes, and that’s AI photos that get shared on Facebook. Superficially, they might look fine at first glance. But the more you look at them, the less sense they make. Because they were created by something that just doesn’t understand the real world, or human emotion.
Like, what happened here? How was he imitating Madonna “subconsciously,” yet his father was able to spot what he was doing? Where was his father in relation to his hand? Makes no sense, unless you’re a deranged autist trying to invent a backstory based on a bunch of movies and Reddit stories.
