Is there a reason why people still use Cyberpunk 2077 as a standard for anything?
Its delusional nintendo fanboys that desperately want the switch 2 to be as powerful as the PS5, so they can defend the switch 2 high price tag.Is there a reason why people still use Cyberpunk 2077 as a standard for anything?
That game is one gigantic bug that doesn't play well on ANY machine.

Nintendo did that too with ExFat on the Switch 1. It didn't have the driver for it originally.https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Hard...o-Switch-2-MicroSD-Express-cards-2785637.html

Edit: Huh, apparently the Surround Sound option also won't be available at launch and require a system update:

After that Cyberpunk 2077 video they are, twitter is full of these crazies.I don't think anyone is using the PS5 as a comparison point for the Switch 2.
You say that. But nintendo has the power of FOMO, marketing, and retarded fanboys.I genuinely think nintendo is fucked here. This is a WII U situation lol, this console is gonna be dead on arrival with all the bad press and backwards ass decisions nintendo keeps making.
I still cannot get over the fact that Nintendo is charging eighty dollars for fucking Mario Kart of all things. If they had made a Zelda game with graphics on par with horizon dawn I would understand. But no, they think the stupid kart racer is worth 80 dollars. Nintendo's brazen greed this generation has completely killed my enthusiasm for their games.
That is pretty powerful... then again, economic collapse, shitty internet, and 70-90 dollar games that I have no interest in work as a perfect counter weight to all that. Like a shield bouncing all the bullshit consumerism Goytendo throws my way off and into the pleb gutter. And I genuinely don't think I could stomach another open world ubisoft Zelda game dumped on my lap after 6/7 years. The bile in my throat would burn a hole right through it. There isn't a single """"service"""" Nintendo is offering that I want, and since they are making Prime 4 multiplat to recoup the cost of its hell development cycle - I can just play that on Switch. I wish god speed to the emulators. You say that. But nintendo has the power of FOMO, marketing, and retarded fanboys.
It probably won't reach Switch's sales given the price, shitty economy, and lack of novelty, but I can't imagine it will do as bad as the Wii U. The Wii U had some unique problems with its fucked up marketing, there was more direct competition from PlayStation and Xbox at the time, and Nintendo consoomerism wasn't as big at the time. The Switch feels like it turned a lot of people into the vidya version of Disney adults who will buy up anything Nintendo because they consider it a part of their identity. At worst, I predict the Switch 2 will sell a lot at first then taper off into uncomfortably mediocre sales until a game that really hypes people is released (Mario Kart isn't that. It sells a lot, but I think it's a more casual seller that people will buy once they have a console, rather than buy a console just to play it).I genuinely think nintendo is fucked here. This is a WII U situation lol, this console is gonna be dead on arrival with all the bad press and backwards ass decisions nintendo keeps making.
It will take months to know, no fucking way it will be easily bought within the first months due to scalpers and FOMO.I genuinely think nintendo is fucked here. This is a WII U situation lol, this console is gonna be dead on arrival with all the bad press and backwards ass decisions nintendo keeps making.
The big reasons for why the Wii U was such a disaster was that Nintendo were trying to recapture a market that wasn't there anymore (i.e. boomers who bought the Wii and played it once), nobody knew what the thing was (most people assumed it was an add-on for the Wii prior to release) and the console had next to no games for over a year. In contrast, the Switch has maintained a dedicated audience of people who play video games, the Switch 2 markets itself very clearly and there are actual games that will be on the console from day 1. They're gonna be fine.I genuinely think nintendo is fucked here. This is a WII U situation lol, this console is gonna be dead on arrival with all the bad press and backwards ass decisions nintendo keeps making.
Because 90% of Switch games released over the past half decade are shitty looking ports that run better on a Steam Deck. Even some of their first party games in recent years like Pokemon SwShit, Shartlet and Violet, and Xenoblade X all run like hot ass. Most of the games shown off in the Switch 2 direct were third party ports of old games and they all ran like shit. Voice chat as a console gimmick is retarded because we already had stoners hotmicing their stress sessions in PS5 game lobbies like Helldivers, it's not some ground breaking new idea. The only thing Nintendo can lean into to sell this turd of a console is its power and its ability to run games at an acceptable performance. If it's not running Xenoblade X at 60fps then I have no reason to upgrade. On a side note, I've never understood why so many Nintendo fans/haters bitch about the power of these consoles. The main selling point of Nintendo consoles has always been the ability to play Nintendo games, which is doing wonders for them in the current year when every other big release is cross-platform. Aside from Rockstar I can't think of another prominent game developer whose games generate the levels of hype and enthusiasm that Nintendo do. They're one of the few current devs who are putting out games that people actually want to play, which is something that consumers are willing to pay top dollar for.
It kills me they thought a literal expansion pack for Breath of the Wild was worth $70. The writing was on the wall then and now we got $80 Mario Kart.I still cannot get over the fact that Nintendo is charging eighty dollars for fucking Mario Kart of all things. If they had made a Zelda game with graphics on par with horizon dawn I would understand. But no, they think the stupid kart racer is worth 80 dollars. Nintendo's brazen greed this generation has completely killed my enthusiasm for their games.
Nintendo have always been the more expensive, and games rarely go down in price. Now the switch2 also have the price point of a PS5.On a side note, I've never understood why so many Nintendo fans/haters bitch about the power of these consoles.
Hey stop throwing shade at Mario Kart. It is awesome. Mario Kart is the patrician's choice. If you are going to be price gouged, Mario Kart is the choice!!I still cannot get over the fact that Nintendo is charging eighty dollars for fucking Mario Kart of all things. If they had made a Zelda game with graphics on par with horizon dawn I would understand. But no, they think the stupid kart racer is worth 80 dollars. Nintendo's brazen greed this generation has completely killed my enthusiasm for their games.
I think the main reason is that fanboys behaving as if Nintendo has actually been part of the console wars for the last decade, rather than essentially rage quitting the gaming industry and only making shitboxes sustained by people's nostalgia to 30 year old IPs.On a side note, I've never understood why so many Nintendo fans/haters bitch about the power of these consoles.
