ust an FYI, I'm watching 45 min of STMS at 1.75 speed before pivoting to Nick's stream.
Aaron looked at his phone (dm from his lawyer?) and read it out: "There have been formal detailed complaints to the licensing board for attorneys in Minnesota over the Chaney issue."
Stallyn19 was quick on the draw with the clip on that this morning:
That is some strange wording about "the Chaney issue" as opposed to referring to his recent public comments about Chaney specifically, and even if those complaints weren't just from random trolls like the Keffals days and came from someone who would be taken seriously like James Roberts and/or any lawyer Chaney may have already retained, getting "formal detailed complaints" done before the Wednesday STMS is some oddly swift turnaround if they are limited to public comments that only began on a Saturday members-only stream that wasn't clipped until later, didn't go full-bore until his Monday and Tuesday streams, and pertain to the sort of non-falsifiable he-said-she-said gossip that is better suited to a defamation action for a jury to sort out than a disciplinary proceeding about fitness to practice law, unless Chaney knows something we don't.
That almost makes it sound like the past few short days' comments about things supposedly said by his kids in just the past few weeks actually just skim the surface of a determined campaign of harassment, intimidation, and poorly veiled threats teetering on the edge of outright blackmail that began potentially as far back as Chaney first being revealed to have been a witness last summer or at least as far back as his self-immolating psychotic break back in late October/early November. That would also explain the bizarre timing of him so suddenly blowing up about it now, not only as a front-loaded cope about who is to blame for what would be seen in the nearing bodycam footage release, but also in reaction to recently getting a notice that his various misconduct regarding Chaney has been a subject of investigation for quite some time.
Just think about it: if he had no qualms about his and his surrogates' many months of poorly veiled witness intimidation tactics against a relatively public hard target like Aaron that rose to the level of even being actively investigated by Pomplun (albeit unprosecuted), just
imagine what sorts of wild shit was being lobbed at at a seemingly soft target like Chaney in private over the past year.
Between that and the other (or overlapping) active LPRB investigation that
@Useful_Mistake already posted about, it's probably about time for anyone doing periodic name searches of MCRO for new filings to add
P-MACS to the routine. If Nick's predictably too stupid to resolve these investigations quietly by stipulation and he thinks throwing untold Petrofac-bux at a fight could ever accomplish anything, then all the gory details from months of private unhinged rants at Chaney would eventually have to be laid out in a contested petition for our viewing pleasure.
