That said, DSP has long since claimed that he couldn't live on less than $3000/mo, and last I checked, pulling a full SS pension at retirement age with full donations leading up to same is the only way someone could get remotely close to a $3k draw.
So he claims he only needs 36k $ a year to get by? That's a very toned down expectation when you think about it. After all he demands 1.800 $ a week (6 days x 300$) whoch would translate into 7200 $ a month (if he streams 6 days a week) and if you put this into an annual income you land at 93.600 $ a year. And you seriously want to tell me that Mr fat fuck, the addiction-riddled, gin-brained consumer who has no concept of Money Management, simply pays of debts by the minimum actually knows how to live of 36k a year? Seriously? No no no, he will simply collect more debt and he will hope he dies before the collector come repossesing everything. And when he dies he will just leave fat Khet with all the debt and she is such a vegetable she won't know what to do.

Now when Piggy says 36k a year that's after taxes which would be before taxes an excess of 40k a year? We'll say with federal income and social security we'll say closer to 46k or 22-23$ an hour.

Can someone explain to me the jump in income? Last year $50 a stream was the goal and he was lucky to hit that. Now he rakes in $300 and is expecting it or else he gives the whales a lecture. What the hell happened? It seems he did come out winning from this stupid kino operation, they equally used each other for financial gain.

Kino just got 100+ subs from itsameken the other day.

Phil changed his metric for hitting the goals from $150 in tips alone, to $50 in tips alone, to $150 in any contribution method whatsoever. It looks like he's making way more money, but when you only count tips, it hides much of what he used to receive. He's moved the goal posts a number of times.

That’s right! I completely forgot he did that, now he even counts memberships as a “tip” when they used to just be counted as members. He used to also not count super chats because YouTube takes a cut but when he adds an SC amount to his counter he counts it for the full amount, but for a YouTube membership he counts it as $3.

This guy’s taxes must be an absolute nightmare.

I don't care what anyone else says, I'm on #TeamFake. If Phil really was getting all these Whale Mary tips or if they were prearranged, he wouldn't be begging like a crack fiend. The begging has been incessant the last few weeks.

His behavior when he gets these tips is strange, too. He doesn't do his usual bug-eyed stare as the tip comes in. No "I have received a generous..." No excitement from hitting the goal. Just a quick mention of the tip and immediately shut down the stream.

I know he faked at least one tip during the Casino Arc to keep the streak going, so if he can fake one, why not more?

A couple of things, his streaming income would disqualify him from disability benefits outright, because despite our mocking his poor vision, he isn't legally blind, so he wouldn't be able to earn that much from streaming, although he could obfuscate his earnings but...

goddamn "business expenses" there to pull his ass off the ragged edge again, like the bankruptcy...

But in the end, for what reward?

Maximum of $1580 Social Security income and $1620 Substantial Gainful Activity gets him to a whopping $3200 a month... congratulations DSP, you are stuck streaming forever, enjoy being the butt of the joke.

The streaming sites withold nothing, he's a 1099 employee, they send his earnings statement to DSP and the IRS, the back tax payment plan covers his federal income tax which is divided up into

All that to say yes he is paying into Social Security, but him claiming benefits is a whole deep dive discussion as they measure his disability income on what he made on a monthly basis before his disability, which was fuck all because he never had a back injury, so I've wasted a whole lot of time to say nothing.

I think he was sad about it because the message was !tip which was just making fun of him. So someone was only tipping as a joke, and didn't care about his product. Him not being excited makes it seem more like a real tip to me.

Who knows though, he has incentive to lie because he thinks he's guaranteed $1k on any marathon that isn't viewer's choice. I like this new system because of how devious it is. Just milking dents and weens for every penny they have and no one seems to mind.

Not only that but he's still got a bit of the kc arc high where a few whales are all working to make sure he continues to receive the same amount of money, but they're slowly tapping out.

Not necessarily. The SGA is what you're allowed to pull in with your draw. Generally, it counts 2/1 against it, which is to say that for every two bucks you earn, you reduce the draw by $1. The whole thing with whether you're blind or not only applies to the ceiling of your allowed SGA. In a nutshell, if you're on disability, you can earn a max of $1200/mo gross before it affects your draw, and anything more reduces it as previously outlined. That said, the allowable business expenses only apply to what he spends to facilitate his working/SGA, such as prescriptions, special transport to/from the job in question, and et cetera. He won't be able to claim his expenses such as his cable and electric bills for this, much less his gacha spending.

Right, but whether he actually has the disability is a separate issue. They count what he made monthly before filing, not after he gets the draw. A lot of seniors end up working those shitbird minimum wage deals in order to bolster their income enough to cover what Medicare doesn't, but while it wouldn't much affect their draw as a retiree, it would cut into the draw if the claimant was reporting inability to work.

My theory on why Phil continues to make OK money is pity. I don't think even the dents buy that he's a positive, well-adjusted person because there is so much evidence to the contrary that it's overwhelming (notice how they get very awkwardly quiet when he starts having a freakout to not invoke his wrath). So I imagine they think they're helping him because he's such an online punchline and they've probably decided "Well, he's not THAT bad, let's stand up for the guy and help him out." PPP pretty much said as much when they first started working together. But Phil works by attrition, pretty much everyone decides eventually that enough is enough and cut ties with him, and at that point, he's already got a replacement lined up. It's sadly a semi-sustainable business model, at least short-term.

“Slipped”? I’d argue his contempt for nearly all of his supporters has been consistently more wide-the-fuck open than Ma Burnell in her heyday. The one he defended to the fucking hilt was Derich, a very reasonably-suspected pedophile and sex pest, and he only stopped when other creators with bigger audiences bullied him into it. All the others, Tut, Emerald7, Swaggins…he’s treated them all like shit and driven them away within a matter of weeks.

Which probably means there’s something else about Derich that Phil saw that made him believe he was worth keeping around, but I’m not going to ruin my day speculating on that shit, I dislike Phil enough as it is.
Isn't that cuck swaggins still around I saw the TIHYDP Sekiro and he was going ape shit because phil didn't like the game, and I could of swore I saw his name in the cuck discord sucking phil's balls when the screenshots came out.
