Aztlan would essentially be an extension, if not out right be part, of Mexico, and things are so shitty there that people fight like Hell to get to America. As far as I know, Mexico doesn't have the money to keep a metric fuck-ton of people on welfare for their whole lives. Let's say Commifornia, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, and parts of Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Washington magically became part of Mexico again. In his mind Phil was wronged by John/Kori and others simply because they wouldn't stand for his bullshit but Phil does want them back in his life if only so they can give him an apology for imagined crimes against Izzy.

Other than commenting on Phils DA stuff he's never really interacted with Phil.

What's odd when you think about it isn't so much Phil's relationships but his break ups.
Tweaker and Maria for the most part ending on a civil basis (pre tweaker coming here of course and the punch did not actually end phil/Maria they were together for a short time after that).
Koris and Phil's non break up is a minor bump of Phil being unable to understand the boundarys of friends and Phil even made a little effort into fighting for his internet brides.

But Phil's worst break ups were the imaginery relationships with John and Dusty. Phil begged and pleaded them not to leave him and likely suffered his most real hurt over them whilst Maria and tweaker were like discarding old socks.
Likely it's simply because the fantasy was far more interesting than a real relationship and freedom from tweaker let Phil off the hook to be himself again, I suppose it shows Phils love for relationships as an idea but not a practical.

So when Phil and Toren part ways will it be with a "meh" or wailing and gnashing of teeth....after all its as fake as his other gay relationships
