Wait, he somehow got a job that paid him $80k a year that they couldn't easily fire him from and he quit.

Chibi really is an idiot. He could have win over the "trolls" if he stuck to that job, and used it to build a life. This reminds me of when Boogie used all his money on taking hookers to Disneyland instead of paying off his mortgage.

Like even if he still wants to do the idiot thing of moving to Japan, at least build up a killer nest egg beforehand, because even if he is able to keep that jap job, the wages are dog shit right now in japan.
The more money people receive, the more confused they are as to how best to utilize it. What often happens is that the money is wasted on the most nonsensical things, like boats. This happens quite commonly with people who win the lottery.

There's no way he put in a two weeks notice, he would've bragged on facebook the second he made the plan to move onto this other job
Typically people would only do this if they hated the job in question.

I'm just happy to see @TV's Adam West still posting in the thread. I was worried that sustained barrage of y'alls might have given him a stroke.

Who cares about those burger-chomping American gaijin? That's old news, baby. Adam is off to his perfect new life in the land of the rising sun, and there is 0% chance of anything going wrong and him being forced to return to Blumpf's fascist dystopia.

Everything's coming up Chibi.

Bad news y'all.

Chibi is gonna lose his new job in a week and be unemployed and we're going to get the unemployment saga before we know it *sigh*
Almost certainly, which raises a couple questions: what happens if you're an unemployed foreigner in Japan, and secondly --this may be moot depending on the answer to the first question-- what's it like being homeless in Japan?

Given the intensity of the corporate culture over there I cannot imagine they're anywhere near as sympathetic in terms of government gibs.

Did this nigger really not give his work a 2 week notice? Normally I don't care about that sort of shit but this place really let him get away with so much shit and paid a retard like him way too much money just for him to bail with a one day notice. Not off to a very professional start for your resume for glorious nippon there cheebs!
I am technically a hiring manager at my job, but I let my subordinates handle all of that. I don’t ever require someone to hand me a two-weeks notice, but the difference between the person who furnished a timely resignation notice and someone who just decides to quit that day is rehire eligibility. Don’t come crawling back to me if you left my team high and dry without any notice that it was going to happen.

Did Chibi even ever actually finish that degree at Full Sail? All I remember is that he'd beg his classmates and random people on discord (preferably cute Japanese girls) for help on his homework.
According to him he did.

I never bothered to check because honestly what's the point?

what's it like being homeless in Japan?
It can suck but it can also be almost okay. You see there's three types of homeless. There's the ones you see who just wind up living under a blue tarp somewhere in a park or something:

There's the ones that have built semi-permanent homes in homeless encampments with electricity and stuff:

Then there's the "hidden homeless" who live in Manga cafes:

Often times these people are employed. They just go there at the end of the night to sleep, read manga and goon. It's really cheap too. Costs something like maybe $15-$30 for the night and that includes a seat that lies almost flat or might even have a mattress. It's also why they tend to have the 24 hour variety nearby train stations in case you miss your last train. It's often cheaper than a capsule hotel.

Chibi never wanted a nest egg or to save up money. It's how he's worked an $80,000 and ended up in debt. Every single dime he earned had to be spent on Japanese knick knacks, Japanese snacks, E-Thots, video games, and trips to Japan.

Knowing Cheebs, he'll send pictures of his dick to some coworker or something and be kicked out of Japan for being a sexpest.

You see there's three types of homeless.
So odds are Chibi would start off in the goon squad til he ran out of money then spend the last of the money from the job he quit to buy a blue tarp and live under a bridge like a troll until he freezes to death in the winter.

That's actually a pretty fitting end to the Chibi story.

I hope he really is going to Japan. Chibi having to deal with bank stamps would be incredible.
Just finding a bank that is willing to deal with him would be good. Maybe things have changed but when I was there I had to see three different banks before one would allow me to open an account with them. And I had all the ID and everything I needed. Sure this was... almost 20 years ago but still.

He has spoken (but not mentioned Japan, not looking good Japan bros)

His new job has to be in Japan though. There's no way he quit his current job for something that offers less money, nor does he have any kind of education or experience with something that could offer more. The only thing that makes any kind of sense is that he's potentially embarassed about his new job or something.

Maybe it's for a Japanese company and once he works there for a year they say he can transfer to Glorious Nippon and live the life he's been promised.
