Now I'm imagining Russ as an ATHF character called MC Peecent, the next reincarnation of MC Pee-Pants. I'm guessing this is why Russell paid the filing fees so quickly yesterday. He's figured out that his lies have been exposed, and he's currently shitting himself in case the court throws out the case, or worse, decides they need to do some fee shifting and start making Russell pay null's past court costs.

So he's doing what he always does. Pay the filing fee. "Look, I've paid it. No harm, no foul. Now can we just get back to punishing the ebil null and his stalker website. I'm poor and disabled, also retarded, so I made a mistake. Now can you please lock up Matthew Hardin for me? He's asking questions I don't like."

He got out of that frying pan, but he managed to piss off the district judge enough that he found his way into a fire over $1,000 in sanctions that he needs to pay off in the next few weeks or the case will be similarly terminated. If the judges have woken up to the reality of the monster they've enabled, I hope additional sanctions follow.

I'm not at all sure that he's out of the frying pan though. I think it was an attempt to get out, but Hardin has assembled a pretty convincing narrative about how Russell was deliberately attempting to mislead to court in order to trick them into awarding him IFP status, while simultaneously appearing in other courts where he's happily paid the filing fees because they concerned his attempts to coerce people into allowing him to open brothels.

That said, these judges have hand waved away Greer's egregious abuses of court procedure so far. Who's to say they won't do the same in respect of Hardin request for them to actually address it this time? But the last few court decisions have given the distinct impression that these judges have had just about all they can stand, from Russell, and so maybe, like Popeye, they can't stands no more.

I said it. The actual audio of the response makes this so much better than a transcript. Baloq is completely bewildered and likely annoyed that he has to (he could've dialed in too) attend because his property came up on the agenda. The councilmen also are dumbstruck Russell showed up when they kept trying to head off how it's not a good idea but Russell still showed up because he just wanted to EXPLAIN and flatter them with the idea of money and tourism and it would make them all fawn over him, hell maybe even Ruth (if she was below 26 and a 9/10, Russ has standards!) would want to go to Olive Garden!

I can't wait to see that police report not show up and for the sanctions to be begrudgingly paid, only for more to possibly land .
