Two Israeli Embassy staff members were shot and killed during an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night, authorities confirmed.

Tal Naim Cohen, a spokesperson for the Israeli embassy in the capital, confirmed to Fox News that two diplomats were shot "at close range" during a Jewish event at the museum. The American Jewish Committee confirmed it was hosting the event in a post on X.

"We have full faith in law enforcement authorities on both the local and federal levels to apprehend the shooter and protect Israel’s representatives and Jewish communities throughout the United States," Cohen said.

Fox News confirmed a man and a woman were both killed in the shooting. Further details on their identities were not immediately available.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said DHS is "actively investigating" the incident and "working to get more information to share."

"Please pray for the families of the victims. We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice," Noem wrote on X.

The Metropolitan Police Department said a shooting investigation was underway near 3rd Street and F Street Northwest, which is where the Capital Jewish Museum is located.

Danny Danon, Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, said an event was taking place at the museum and the deadly shooting was a "depraved act of anti-Semitic(sic) terrorism" in a statement posted to X late Wednesday night.

"Harming diplomats and the Jewish community is crossing a red line. We are confident that the US authorities will take strong action against those responsible for this criminal act. Israel will continue to act resolutely to protect its citizens and representatives – everywhere in the world," he wrote.


Fox News Digital has reached out to DC police, the Israeli embassy and the Capital Jewish Museum.

They can occasionally get pretty spergy whenever they get heated in an argument and fail to keep their Jewishness in check (it happens to the best of them at times, even Mel Brooks) but 90% of the time they're rational, level-headed, and bring evidence, which is more than can be said for the "Lol Jews suck" guys who are dumb enough to think they can somehow manage to out-argue a Jew.

I agree, the PSL definitely had no knowledge. They are a party of opportunists who have not accomplished anything in 20 years. They remain content with running election campaigns that always lose and attending nothingburger protests. Why would they suddenly start ordering assasinations after two decades of sitting around with their thumbs up their arse?

Some sources like wikipedia call them Marxists-Leninists but that isn't really true. The PSL refrains from calling themselves ML for a reason. Their party has it's roots in Marcyism which itself originates from Trotskyism. Essentially Marcyites are Trotskyites who decided to do a 180 on the hatred trotskyites have for the USSR, instead deciding to give phull sapport to any perceived enemy of the US. This leads to them having retarded positions like upholding Trotsky and Mao and Khrushchev and Stalin all at the same time. Their trotskyite origins also explains their uselessness lol

I've never heard about the gun-running thing before, and idk how true it is that they go out of their way to find unstable niggas. If a retard went to one of their meetings and started talking about killing Israeli diplomats he would be labeled a fed/adventurist and kicked out. The PSL has however had several sexual assault allegations levied against their members, which they dismiss as "COINTELPRO disinformation".

The same could be said about the SPLC until some folks discovered then one of the founders of the SPLC; Morris Dees was a womanizer like Harvey Weinstein and I don't talk of their off-shore accounts in the Cayman Islands. I won't be surprised if the current head of the ADL Jonathan Greenblatt might have some similar hidden skeletons in his closet.

For a braindead wacko who had to check if he was even in the right building he sure did a good job picking who to shoot once he got there. Good job, I suppose, he has my begrudging respect in actually shooting Israeli government officials.
