Viktor's nose does not look like that.

His face just out like a spider money in that first panel. Also note how the artist can't draw feet, either.

Gooner Viktor lusts after pooner Jayce. The art wouldn't be so bad without the scars, but Jayce's left pec is placed in the wrong position in the middle. It's clear these artists just draw male bodies and slap the scars on and consider it a day.

Artist dikut can't seem to keep a Mexican's skin tone right, despite being Mexican herself.

It’s a problem with so many artists on this thread. They have some genuinely cool art, but they waste it on politisperging. Like I said on the Creative Works You Enjoyed Before Politics Happened thread, so many people feel the need to give their two cents on “Elon and Trump bad” or become full on keyboard warriors

She still has the “I stand with Canada” comic with the eagle, goose, and kelpie up, but that’s it. I think the only thing I missed posting here was her drawing of an ugly Trump putting tariffs on that penguin island.

This is a good example of what I like to call "quota art".
The artist clearly just tried to check has many boxes as possible.
These are not characters/designs, they are checklists.

Worse, it is spiritual pick-meism. None of these characters exist irl. In fact they all look like caricatures someone would draw ironically to take the piss out of tumblrinas. Absolutely no one takes this genre of art seriously, it is pure SJW cope.

I’ve witnessed the unfortunate side-effect of artists with talent who get into leftist politics/woke shit, is that their art inevitably regresses. In the political movement comprised of spiteful mutants (and worshipping them) beauty and originality is seen as an existential threat. You will even get obese SJWS shitting on artists who refuse to draw video game characters as fat obese negresses, saying; “No stalker child, if you can’t draw Akira Kurusu as a half black half Japanese obese trans woman riding a skateboard, it is YOU who has failed as an artist through their utter lack of skill”

Newsflash, art is about beauty and conserving it. Art should give you quiet comfort. People of darker skin tones, with unfortunate qualities like obesity and disabilities, are not comforting. They definitely don’t represent the very best humanity has to offer. In fact they often represent the worst, the most reviled, repugnant aspects, often devoid of humanity and warmth. No one is comforted by images of obese black disabled trannies.

They have this weird need to add random disfigurements and scars to splatoon characters.
This headcanon in particular comes from a dialogue after where Callie says something along the lines of "ugh I got ink in my eye" Which I believe is only in the english version.
This artwork is pretty tame too. Others range from just staining her eye or the area around this to her missing like half of her face (similar headcanons to Agent 3)
If she looked like this her career as an Idol would have ended REAL fast.


Side note but I just realized those eye headcanons for Callie, Agent 3 and Shiver are never present in art from Japanese artists. Or if they are (specially from 3 and Shiver) they are REALLY rare.
