I don't have any deep seated self-hatred driving my dislike for Ian. I just find him repulsive on a basal, instinctual level. Anisa honestly just bores me. That was the crux of what I was trying to get at, men are more likely to be turned off by Ian and women by Anisa. Neither is remotely good but they create a more visceral response in each gender.
