The Demon's Souls remake replaced male/female with a/b, the Silent Hill remake made all the women look like men, and The Dark Ages has a mannish girlboss voiced by Debra Wilson.

On a personal note, while I do think it's a stretch to call them woke, they are all infected by the same design by committee decision making that plagues modern games. Did they have to add black people to Demon's Souls? Did they have to make Silent Hill play like The Last of Us crossed with Souls style combat? Did they have to add parrying to Doom? I don't think so.

To be fair he was patient enough to stand in a room listening to exposition for 3 minutes and that was in DOOM 2016. It only got worse from there.
Someone else pointed it out earlier but I always thought it was strange that the narrative around that game was that there were no cutscenes and DOOMguy is so based for just smashing the monitor and then you play it and you're locked in the exposition cuckshed for 3 minutes straight anyway.

Looked like it was only 1 forgettable NPC in DS but I guess that is kinda gay. Why change it? In Silent Hill, I think the blonde looks fine enough but the brunette does have a questionable potato face. Certainly not as offensive as the shit that happened in the Diablo 2 remake with a literal troon Amazon. As for TDA, the most offensive thing about Thira is that she's voiced by Debra Wilson and that's it. Yeah, I'm pretty tired of seeing that nigger, especially after New Colossus. Calling Thira a girlboss though is just disingenuous since she was following her dad's orders the entire time. I mean, she's literally the princess. I think people are more hung up on that she's voiced by a DEI nigger and are coming up with other things to hate.

If it's in your face like Diablo 2 Remake or Baldur's Faggotry 3, then we have a discussion. Elden Ring has a troon god and a femboy faggot god yet I haven't see anyone here calling it woke.

Plenty of people did, including the guy this thread is about.
I'm sure plenty people didn't though because for some reason they always stick their head in the sand when it's a game they actually like. Much easier to go after low hanging fruit like Veilguard or Concord.
