Forgive me if something has come out and I missed it but I just have to say, holy fuck. I don't like Saberspark myself, don't watch his content ect. But it really seems like everyone accusing him so far is a fucking blithering retard.

Well SaberSpark proved as much… look where it's gotten him. Seemed to be riding high for years, but he's now looking at his career about to come crumbling down around him. Nothing need be said of MandoPony, ToonKriticY2K, et al., who faced similar fates for similar reasons. So yeah, if you want to end up like them, or picking up the soap in prison, GLHF.

Or in her case, well, broken.

At risk of waxing poetic, hers is legit a really tragic story. As someone who used to be close with her, I know her well; I know what makes her tick; I knew her hopes and dreams, her aspirations; I know her fears, her pain.

We already know she was a teen mom, but she herself was also the result of a teen pregnancy, and was sexually abused from a young age, then as a result grew up without a father in the home. I don't know how many people could even hope to become well-adjusted adults with such a disastrous upbringing.

She—at least when I knew her—struggled immensely with pair-bonding. She had great difficulty forming healthy relationships with men, and even struggled to identify what good men even looked like. Again, perfectly understandable for someone who had no good male role models outside of fictional characters they saw on TV, movies, and video games.

(Perhaps that's why she had such a strong connection with Sonic, going so far as to seek out a relationship with the VA, who himself was old enough to be her father. Her alt twitter account was "@daddy_sonic"; there may be more to that on a deeper level than even she realized.)

As cycles of abuse go, she herself—while definitely a victim of her circumstances—is unfortunately far from blameless either. As CayciFish said, this victim has her own victims. Not that she's out here doing the same kinds of abuse that happened to her as a child (thank God), but more that she manipulates others to get what she wants, and will not hesitate to pull out all the stops to garner the most sympathy she can to make herself feel better about herself. Some would call it "toxic femininity". There's a long trail of men who will all confirm the same thing, talk to her former boyfriends, to her former music producers, to her former collaborators.

Heck, even talk to her former female friends—she doesn't have them anymore either; she pushed them all away too. Those two girls she used to host Pegasisters Live with were some of her last two female friends who held out hope for her, but they couldn't take it. And then Ceci/Cess/TheChaosSpirit was her final holdout, before too having to drop her due to more of her drama.

One of the primary ways she ends up hurting herself and others is that she has severe trust issues, no doubt stemming from her past. She constantly worries that those she cares about will abandon her, and that doubt seeps into distrust, into questioning, to essentially requiring that people around her "choose a side" and commit "allegiance" to her side of things. See, in doing so, she makes herself a polarizing figure—you're either tenuously "with her", or you're untrustworthy.

Those in the former camp are constantly at risk of being sifted into the untrustworthy side of things unless they work to help convince her that she can trust them—this manifests as helping her produce content, donating to her, paying for her hotel/travel expenses, defending her online against those calling her out, ostracizing/smearing the ones she suddenly decides to distrust, and constantly re-assuring her that she's blameless in doing so, that she's making the right choice. (Many also see this as an opportunity to beat down former "competition" for her attention, and gleefully do so.)

Some people get fed up of this game and move on from her on their own, while others play into the sunken-costs fallacy, and continue pouring more of their time and effort into her, until they too eventually burn out and have to walk away, or she cuts them off herself regardless—despite how many years spent on her—often over some little misinterpretation on her part.

I genuinely believe that she herself thinks she wants peace from all of this, but there's some part of her that proves otherwise by her actions. It's like some part of her needs to confirm that she still has some control over her life—some control of her surroundings—by chaotically stirring up drama, just to shake things up. As a bonus, she gets to farm sympathy and see who her "true friends" are in those moments. If she truly wanted peace, she really needs to ask herself why she keeps stirring things up.

(Perhaps we're seeing some character growth here, as she tried to do it anonymously this time, at least, which may be a step in the right direction vs the other times when she was able to farm sympathy over it. But not if it was simply driven by fear of retaliation from a larger fanbase. But the best would be to simply go to the authorities about this rather than making a scene, even anonymously.)

My theory is that when she feels particularly immature, this is the best strategy she knows in order to figure out who she can "really trust", and therefore turns to it in those times. If it's by cutting out a former friend whose allegiance she doubts, then all the "better": If she keeps a friend around, she will have to doubt whether or not they're genuine. If she pushes someone away, she doesn't have to doubt anymore; she can conclude that they were fake all along—temporarily resolving the anxiety crisis.

She's burned so many bridges that it becomes increasingly harder to actually feel sorry for her. The people who reach out the farthest and try the hardest to help her are inevitably the ones who become the most hurt by her. It's just a sad situation; never had to be like this. One has to wonder what she could've become had her circumstances been different, had she made better choices in life; had she not pushed away those who tried to help her.

In that way, she's not actually too dissimilar to our favorite Chris, actually.


I've spent years reflecting on my time knowing her, just trying to make sense of it all, hoping to gain something worthwhile from the experience. Trying to glean whatever wisdom I can out of the things I heard, observed, experienced, felt, and learned. Just something so that I don't have to write off those years of my life as wasted.

I hope I left things better than I found them, at least. I hope that she grows out of this someday. Not even just for her own sake, but for the sake of all those she's hurt in the past, all those who poured so much of their time and effort into trying to help her, and to prevent further suffering in the future.

And y'know what else? I hope she finds Jesus; at this point He's really the only one who could honestly say "I can fix her".

I predicted this. For years, I have been saying the adult bluey fandom will slowly replace the Bronies. Sabersparks is pretty much the mando pony for adult bluey fans. It’s about time someone makes a adult bluey fandom thread. We have adult bluey fans who do nothing but damage control the fan fandom and show on the cartoon industry thread here on kiwi fucking farms.

If you're just looking at r/youtubedrama (it has a thread on KF) then yeah the Farms seems mild in comparison. That subreddit is left leaning and tends to openly despise certain creators no matter what. They're a gayer version of the Farms.
I think Kiwis don't care as much because they see cows exposed for way worse degeneracy on a daily basis with evidence.
