I thought so as well, but Max was tweeting all of his wedding photos, but never once defended his friend when all of the comments made fun of Ian. The e backlash was brutal; in fact, people STILL criticise Ian for that today.

a friend would at least say something? at least tell them haters to cool it? I guess his silence means something.

Charlie's silence (it means something you know!) on the whole thing tells me he knew at least Creator Clash 2 was going to be a flop but still signed on to be an announcer/held an after party and he knows he wouldn't be able to feign ignorance this time around. He's a spineless fence sitter as well but I think he's avoiding this fence at all costs because there's no teetering this one. He cannot give slack to one side without immensely pissing off the other and he's terrified of backlash from anyone.

Tbf, Ian skipped the wedding for a tattoo appointment. JOJI appeared even though he was touring. One friend bent his tour around the wedding and the other could not be bother to reschedule a fucking tattoo? I think Max learned who his friends are that day and decided to stay out of it. Not his clown, not his circus.

I understand that he could have said something but I can also see him decide it is not worth it to get into this slaughter.
