I remember when image first came out, Todd McFarland got the exact same treatment Eric July got for his writing in his books. He even had his own mob trying to get him to go out of business by saying the products are awful. If HE can survive all that I know for a fact Eric July can. Now all these people do is kiss Todd's ass, act like he's the best thing ever and call him a comic book God now. Oh and I'm sure you all knew this but Image is still around too. If Image can survive these tribalistic weirdos, I know Rippaverse can as well. Hell it's still doing better than anything CG is doing, and that's during the campaign....I do wonder how many people bought them after they ended, but I have seen quite a few new people like what they see when they did. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if ended up kissing Eric July's ass when this is all said and done. Meanwhile EVS and all the rest of his little goon squad are going to be nothing and end up lost in the void of obscurity.

I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I can’t say whether I agree with Gary or not, but he’s allowed to dislike it. We are all allowed to like or dislike what we want, though I know Ya Psyche Ward Zack disagrees.

He didn’t even get into politics, and even still is positive towards Tom and the medium.

Zack really believes you cannot dislike anything unless you dislike it the right way, which depends on his mood, and if he likes you (which he never will for long). Even the most anti-anti-woke person has to admit this is not sane.

By definition, if a movie has flopped, then it has lost money, That's what a flop is.

Also, for most studios, it's just as important the window of time that the money came in, because that's when they have to report to their shareholders. The accounting department would have to prepare these reports, have them audited, go for tax write-offs, etc. That's why everyone places so much emphasis on opening weekends and box office within a certain period of time.

Does Zack think these studios are run like his CG "business"?

Also, streaming is a loss leader. The money come from subs and ads, and even then, that money is parked under the streaming service revenue, not the movie box office.

I seriously doubt any additional sales, like getting airlines to show your movies, will somehow offset any losses at the box office.

TL; DR: Zack is a retard know-nothing screaming at other people for the "crime" of not being as retarded as he is.

Why the fuck is he having "conversations" with a chatbot? Does he not have any friends? Talking with a computer all day about a film character is genuinely psychotic, and makes me fear for his overall mental health. I think of real schizophrenics and how they have been empowered by AI chatbots and stuff, since they can literally make their psychotic episodes into reality with a chatbot, AI voice, and AI video. Does Zack understand that the AI isn't his friend, and isn't having a real conversation?

Back in the day, companies would rely on merchandise to carry a underwhelming/shit movie. Like the cars & transformers franchise. No one is buying merchandise from captain america 4 outside of red hulk because hasbro barely make any hulk figures as is. They didn't even make a wave for Captain America 4 outside of 3 Deluxe Figures.
