Give it time. Barb and Chris lack any kind of self-awareness. They'll have turned it into another hoardy death-trap inside of a year, tops.

The next few months are going to be interesting. The insurance company is currently paying the rent at the rental house, but Barb is running out of time.
What happens when 14 BC is still in an unlivable condition, Charb gets kicked out of the rental house by the insurance company/landlord, and the Chandlers are flat broke?
Barb will fight and delay things as long as possible, but the truth is that the Chandlers are currently only one step away from homelessness.

Depends on the house itself. If they let the house fall into such disrepair and turn into a fire hazard again THEN I think they will be kicked out without a second though especially if Barb proves herself to be in "The right mind". Chris on the other hand might exist as leverage that would let the insurance company extend the stay, but otherwise I don't see much hope for the chandlers
Secondly, has Chris' facebook been active at all? I wouldn't be surprised if he was asking some highschool friends or people he knew if they had a place he can stay, but then again I might be overestimating him.
Seeing as how this region is being maintained by someone else, then there's probably no way in hell they'll be allowed to let this house fall into the level of disrepair seen in 14BLC. As such, this may be a meaningful chance for Chris to actually have to live in accordance with the wants of others, lest he face some meaningful consequences for being obstinate. Thoughts?

I doubt it. He's already super paranoid. There was no reason to make this thread though.
