When will the medical and psychological institutions acknowledge that testosterone can act as a mood enhancer for many (perhaps most) women, and that combined with the belief that they are discovering their "authentic self" and actively shaping themselves according to their ideals (basically creating a much better version of themselves), this very often leads to feelings of happiness and euphoria?
Which in turn makes these young females believe they are on the right path and that "gender affirming care"
is saving lives, while actually, in reality, it greatly damages the body (
and the mind - you can't tell me that dissociating from your actual body, then spend an enormous amount of energy to make yourself and your surrounding believe you are actually the other sex, while purposely putting yourself through surgeries and in state of constant hormonal imbalance, which also effect your mental state, is healthy for your mind).
It's no different than body builders who take big amount of steroids and feel happy, euphoric, invincible and healthier, only to drop like flies at the age of 40 something. The key difference is that while bodybuilders are typically warned about the risks, many young females are being told this is the healthiest path for them.
I am so tired of this. This is clearly out there for everyone to see but no study is made of this because it's politicly incorrect to do so, and since no study is done, you can't point to such study/studies as a scientific proof that "gender affirming care" is harmful and that the idea of "gender identity" itself is as unscientific as any religious or spiritual idea out there and can effect mood, feelings and state of mind just as much. And so, trans activists and their allies tell us all that they are supported by science and that we "transphobes" are the science deniers.
Take people who are in a cult and you will find out that they are the happiest people out there and they are sure they are in a better place than people who are not in their cult, at least until that they realize they are actually not, if they ever reach that point. Does it mean being in a cult is healthy then? Shouldn't we encourage people to get into cults, seeing how happy and content they are? Of course not, because we recognize this is actually harmful in the long run. How is changing your body and mind because of this belief in "gender identity", to the point of risking death sometimes, is any different? It drives me crazy. Anyone who looks closely at the situation can see it, but we don't have studies to cite so it doesn't happening and we are the stupid primitive people who deny science.
To tell you the truth, we talk about how the tide is turning and all but I personally think that as long as the scientific community would not admit that "gender identity" is not a scientific concept and that "gender affirming care" is at the very least very physically unhealthy, we are still in a very, very bad place and are nowhere close to winning this.
Thread tax:
Talking about body builders and pooners, here is a combination of both. This is a subgenre I am quite familiar with at this point. They mostly look like men, but then you see they have suspiciously wide hips and shit like that that throws you off. Personally I think they look like chimeras.
