Exactly what I was thinking of. It would be an absolute nightmare to remove for anyone with any kind of tool.

I'd be careful with animated niggermarks. While they might trip up AI tools, if you have mostly static content on screen for a bit removing the watermark is as easy as overlaying it with the content a few frames earlier/later where the watermark wasn't there yet.

Novaonline clips being overlayed with nigger likely wouldn’t stop those two due to their Alogging of Nova, they clip shit themselves. However stopping them from using any other clips for videos is a good idea, nigger works FAR better than a link to the site bouncing, unless you want troons white knighting.

I understand your implied concern, but I think it's always gonna be better for the site long term if more people join.
Let's say there was a trending video with a kf clip on it, or even easier, a link in the description to the thread or whatever.
A lot of shitters are gonna lurk or join the site. If 1 out of a 100 people that watch video go thru the effort and mental gymnastics necessary to find and visit the site (considering the millions of views a slop video might get), theres a good chance we get cool people on board.
We'll get a wave of tourists and normies, yes, but that already happens naturally when happenings happen, can't avoid it.

Also, no matter what we do, there's always gonna be slop videos with content stolen from the farms. The least we can do is capitalize on it as much as possible.

I understand your logic but capitalization here requires users join AND contribute to the site via donation/merch runs/superchats. Raw userbase size might not be particularly helpful since the site can’t run ads.

The clip channel audience is super unlikely to join a long-form text forum especially if they already get the highlights.

Something I just thought of, how often is Null using clips sourced from the site for MATI streams? I don’t watch MATI, so I’m not sure how much he uses clips directly from the site. Is he going to have to DM people to get the clips without the watermark in order to show things on his streams?

If that’s the case, it may indeed be better to use the kiwifarms logo instead of the niggermark so we don’t cuck our dear sneeder.

Give it a flashing "nigger" caption underneath the logo and make it bounce around the screen like those old DVD player logos

an animated DVD logo bounce overlay with libavfilter and ffmpeg should be as effective and much more difficult to remove than any static watermark

this should be a pretty simple script but normies can't use command line or install ffmpeg

This might look like it would drastically fuck with the overall fidelity of the video watermarked, but the result it actually a) quite sneaky and b) bearable.

What is the best way to superimpose a good nigger mark on an MP4 using ffmpeg?

overlay this @ like 3-5% transparency

ffmpeg -i "inputvideo.mp4" -stream_loop -1 -i "nigger.gif" -filter_complex "[1:v]format=rgba,colorchannelmixer=aa=0.03[ov];[0:v][ov]overlay=0:0" -shortest -c:a copy  "niggerfied.mp4"

change the aa=0.03 to whatever percent of transparency you would like

Seems like the compromise is niggermarking funny cows like BMJ and others that sloptubers steal content for, but using a KF watermark for cows that need to be exposed and their misdeeds spread far and wide, like Nick Rekieta and Jonathan Yaniv. Maybe do two versions anyway in case Null wants to use it on his stream.
