And Daniel should have thought before getting her pregnant. He KNEW what she was like & went into the pregnancy with the expectation that Becky would change. That isn’t actually fair to the baby OR to Becky. Daniel should have told Becky straight up - no more sleazing around & do more work around the house. THEN we will have a baby. He did the order in reverse and when it didn’t work out (surprise, surprise) he bailed on the now mother of his child. Now everyone is worse off. This makes Daniel an asshole.

I know of some women that got pregnant without planning it, kept the baby, and got their shit together. One of them was essentially a Casey Anthony party girl, but once she got knocked up, balanced taking care of the kid, a part time job, and earning a college degree. Now the kid is on his way to college, and she has a degree in the medical field that pays well.

Daniel was most likely promised that a baby was going to result in the end of "BPDemon Becky" and the start of "Good mother and wife Becky".

Then after seeing her ramp up the FetLife dick trolling, weed addiction, and neglect, saw that she reneged on her promise and noped out of a relationship with the sea hag.

I don't see Daniel as an asshole, just a moron who took Becky at her word and finally got tired of her lies and bullshit.

I agree with this. Daniel was an idiot and a fucked up person to get into this situation, but I have known a number of irresponsible, idiotic women who had a "switch flip" when they got pregnant and suddenly got serious about life. This is exactly how the really fucked up, will-never-get-better pathological personality women end up with babies: someone takes a chance on them thinking that maybe they just need some outlet for instincts and then they'll start sort of...running a different program.

She's been doing a lot of dirty deleting, but I haven't had the chance (or will, honestly) to grab all of it. The other night she posted some long, rambling screed about how before Jackson's Dad died, she had a dream about her future child celebrating their first birthday at Disneyland surrounded by family and friends. Supposedly Jack's Dad said "let's make that happen" or something to that extent when she told him about it, and she wrote a bunch feeling extraordinarily sorry for herself about how that can never happen bc Jack's Dad is dead, and Krissy is dead, and Daniel is gone and everyone is gone and oh Becky's so alone alone aloooooone. It was gone in like ten mins and got zero engagement - I didn't grab it and nothing was lost, tbh. I think she may have been drunk.

I agree, it’s a relatable seed to chew on. Like she went from doing the girl boss blue plan, women in male fields college degree corporate jobs etc etc. to being pregnant, where a woman receives the most attention of her life ever, everyone doting on her, did she eat? Has she had water yet? Sit down I’ll get that! To hormone crash post birth survival mode. Her “support” enabled her to completely dissociate from the bonding process though and she didn’t even use the obvious outlet (going through the trenches with the baby and figuring it out step by step, falling in love because it doesn’t always happen instantly etc) so she has the trophy but she hasn’t participated in a meaningful way. The transition from pregnancy where everyone, even strangers, are so warm and caring and attentive to that warmth, care and attention aimed at the cute tiny baby must be devastating for someone like Becky who’s so dysfunctional and reliant on being the center of the universe. It makes sense she’s hounded Sam for a baby as a salve for her breakup, child-rearing does not fulfill her emotionally the way pregnancy does.

Call me old-fashioned but even if that were her only purpose, being hahnuh’s mother, there’s nothing wrong or shameful about that, it’s a very meaningful purpose if she treated it that way.

I was just catching up on the Kelly Lenza thread and she and Becky are remarkably similar. Both conceived with IVF, both had a balling stay at home lifestyle with a dependable bread winner who supplied all the needs and more wants than they could ask for, they both opened their relationships to fuck fetlife degens, both imploded those relationships and are miserable more so than usual, having lost their cushy lifestyles because nothing was ever good enough until it was gone. Their most unifying shared trait is definitely the child neglect though. As I was catching up I couldn’t help but think of hahnuh while I was reading about Kelly’s girls. Pretty grim. I love Becky’s parents for calling out her misery porn fantasies though. I can’t wait to hear what else they say.
