They may have restructured their power/how much they could be paid/etc this year since last time they ran it into the ground and it was a humiliating PR nightmare in terms of charity.I know they say they arent financially tied to the event but surely they are fucked right? they rented it out and hyped up the whole thing only to run it into the ground. What do you think will happen regarding that?
They ran it into the ground again this year but I don’t know if they would try to argue that making the content cop was supposed to promote the event (even though they didn’t link it and it made a lot of fighters uncomfortable). I don’t think that would play out in court.
If there’s any jews losing money someone is getting sued and then that person might sue the Jomhas. I really don’t know of any wealthy Jew who would throw any money into this event, though. It seems like only a fucking idiot would invest or green light this. Jomha stink aside, no one gives a shit about creator boxing anymore. No one even cares that much about real boxing, not like they used to. Even mega cards like Fury v Usyk come up on you and you’re like “oh fuck that’s today”. The UFC has crushed boxing and they put on a decent card every few months.
There’s just no magical “get out of jail free card” or contract for when you fuck over investors, your co-founder, promoters, fighters and fans. She’s talking out of her ass about them being protected. No one would ever let these bumblefucks retain a shit ton of power and sign over any right to not hold them liable if they fuck up the event. This is two events in a row they fucked up over pettiness and narcism.
