That's not even accounting for how much the perperpared/ready to eat food industry makes exporting it and selling it to other party's. The answer is pretty obvious. Food is an inelastic good because you need to fucking eat to survive. If welfare queens aren't buying skittles and Dr. Pepper, they aren't going to just starve to death. They will buy different food, increasing demand in that sector, and causing growth that offsets the loss in the junk food sector. Pretty basic economics.
