Fascinating.

Even more fascinating is the mistake he fixed turned out not to be a mistake, so he corrected it by turning it into an error, and it never occurred to him to fact check the claims that his panel was an error.

Maybe I was hard on the farms for their obsessive daily posts on YBZ. He really is that dumb.

All this talk about mistakes and printing errors made me recall his "Is this you?" comic from back in the day. The premise was that immortals were being scrutinized for opinions they had centuries ago when there were different values. On that vein, how would he feel if someone brought out the mistakes he made in comics?

I can't parse what he's trying to say in that second video. It sounds like maybe he is trying to claim he never shipped the book with the perspective lines? My copy has them. I even considered ordering a corrected one but then I thought eh screw it I don't really care. Or maybe he is trying to retcon it and say he meant to have those lines all along which is weird because in his video from a while back talking about it, he acknowledged it as a mistake. I guess at the time he forgot he'd actually meant to do that and he made a video saying he made a mistake by accident? Regardless of what he's trying to say, it sounds like a bunch of retarded bullcrap lies and a flimsy attempt to cope. Wouldn't it have been easier to say sometimes misprints happen and Eric July is a regular guy? Rather than... whatever the heck that was. What a freaking spaz.

They desperately need Eric to be this cartoon villain for the crime of putting out good to mediocre comics in a timely manner while making a profit. It's weird as shit to have this level of aggression towards the guy over this since he even distanced himself from engaging in e-drama like he used to.

Not sure if he's ever broken 150,000 subscribers. If he did, it didn't last for long. He usually seems to lose a bunch then "something happens" to where he'll regain new ones. But that doesn't seem to be working for him anymore. His views have gone up though, but I think it's more because he practically streams non-stop at this point.

His target audience is what he seems to think are the middle of the road followers that Perch cultivated because Zack likes to think of himself as a fair and unbiased content creator.

Whenever Meyer sees something shiny, he enthusiastically wants to copy it with no regards at how he may fit in such a scheme (think Ed Piskor's flashy color scheme for his own comicbook that Zack swiped for the NarZack comic). So he watches Perch's channel and wants to ape Perch's nice, centrist style.

That's the crowd that Zack seemed to covet and chase after when he left CG behind, but he never could land them because of his own deficiencies. He already had portions of that audience in his pocket back in 2019; after all he did boost Perchs initial videos by recommending the guy to his audience, so overlapping was inevitable. But since he began alienating his followers, those were also the first ones to go rather than the alt right "depressed republicans" (whatever that freaking means) that he wants to get rid of.

How are Republicans depressed anyway, generally speaking? Their Orange Man is working overtime to deliver what he had promised them, at the risk of incurring future assassination attempts from enraged judges, Ben Shapiro's clan, and the troon and pooner brigade.

Seems like the other side is the one that is more likely to be depressed.
