What, in particular, about the sea stands out to you in this instance? Circumventing the map by water? The horizon?
The horizon. You can watch ships drop off the edge as they sail away. From the ship's point of view, you can watch land rise above or fall below the horizon. Moreover, from a typical trireme, the horizon is about 3-4 miles away when standing on deck and 10 miles away when at the top of the crow's nest. The sailors leaving fropm Athens certainly know that Alexandria is not magically rising from the deep, nor did they fall off a huge water-cliff en route to it.

Using Pythagorean geometry, it is not hard at all to get an estimate of the size of the sphere you're standing on.

Somehow, I don't see the Venn circles of those with a grasp of Pythagorean geometry and those making assertions demonstrating an ignorance of it overlapping. You're kind to trust the latter group to do their diligence.

Let's get that accuracy closer to 100%:

ITS ALL ACTUALLY ABOUT ME.webp

What would you place more stress upon unveiling? Or rather, what would you deem to be more world-changing?
Giants, previous advanced civilisations, what happened with the dinosaurs, the real timeline of Earth, what's really in the pacific, the true date of the pyramids and the unveiling of the other pyramids in the world, why the secrecy around previous technologies/civilisations, and, for me, the most damaging truth of the world would be the full unsealing and declassification of MK Ultra, the British, Russian, Indian, Chinese and Japanese equivalents and how psychological manipulation is so easy and so powerful that the majority of people on the planet don't live in their own reality, rather one that has been crafted since their birth,.

The civilization that invented the trireme also invented Pythagorean geometry, not sure what you're getting at.

What is your pfp of, im getting flashbacks to the Magic Schoolbus Space DOS game
You are literally the first and only person to get it! I’m still trying to figure out how to make a gif version of it spinning. I also “customized” it by adding my previous pfps for the “space starfish jumpscare” to hold like signboards (extremely autistic, which is perfect for KF).

Previous users over the years mention another space starfish entity from the artistic masterpiece “Gayniggers From Outer Space”. While I haven’t seen that film, it came out around the same time as Magic School Bus Explores the Solar System, so I wonder if the creators were aware (that’s my conspiracy theory contribution to this thread).

EDIT: typo corrections and here's the "Gayniggers From Outer Space" space starfish entity I was referring to. It has 10 arms instead of 7 like the Magic School Bus one, but you can definitely see the similarities:

Kino tastes, the Magic Schoolbus DOS games were absolute peak edutainment, get fucked oregon trail

I'm saying that modern civilization believes all kinds of shit because they don't know shit: That those who understand that spherical bodies are the expected outcome of matter condensing toward a center of gravity aren't likely to hold opinions to the contrary; just as those already capable of applying Pythagorean geometry aren't looking to "prove" a foregone conclusion of a flat earth premised in nothing - That "it's not hard to estimate the size of the sphere you're standing on" is a point the willfully ignorant are unlikely to concede. We're in agreement - My comment was that you give your fellow man more credit than I do.

The Greeks didn't understand gravity. But they figured out pretty quick that when you sailed away from shore, the archipelago didn't actually sink beneath the waves.

My comment was that you give your fellow man more credit than I do.

I have no respect for flat-earthers. I am simply pointing out that, as a historical phenomenon, civilizations with ready access to the sea tended to figure out pretty quickly that the Earth is round, while more land-bound civilizations were more likely to believe in flat earth.

One conspiracy I never see mentioned anymore is the Aurora Theater shooting. I know it's become a meme how every shooting gets over analyzed by tinfoil schizos. It's safe to say there's more than enough evidence to show something very suspicious went down with this one. Here's an excellent video on it I found from Bitchute a few years ago.
Not to mention the weirdness that happened to the victims themselves. I don't know if it's a Colorado thing, but it happened with Columbine, too.
"Hey, I saw another guy."
"No you didn't."
"Yes I did, he was right over there when it happened."
"You are in shock and don't know what you saw."
"I'm certain of it."
"No you aren't, and we will not discuss this further."

5,000 years ago was the oldest recorded writing, or at least, the oldest we're allowed to read.
"Allowed to read" is right. Even Göbeklitepe isn't fully accessible in part because they don't want feral Muzzies blowing it up.
They hide stuff, they say the world "can't know" stuff, and all the crap you see in museums are replicas of the real things. It would take zero effort at all to not include writing in any given reproduction.

It's the "high altitude" and lack of oxygen. Makes certain people unwell which, while true, is probably tossed around as an excuse way too often.

I'll quote myself from another thread out of laziness. (in regards to online whores allegedly getting railed by hundreds of men)

It's bollocks. Don't believe any of this bullshit. Not until I see a live stream (Not that I'll watch it) of her or any of the other whores gettins pumped continiously will I believe this is anything other than an ad.

It's all a psy-op to increase the amount of women-hating, incel faggots AND the amount of women 666 women - six foot, six figure salaries, six-pack (notice how it's demonic numbers for an extra level of division?). The pattern of blonde-haired, blue-eyed slags like this bitch and that other slag, are no coincidence either. You don't see middle-eastern, african or latina women doing this.

It's all bullshit designed to separate the sexes. Divide and conquer on a social, global scale.

To add to this, Andrew Tate, the Whatever podcast, the numerous talking heads on Youtube that discuss simps, fags, woke, not cowtowing to women and any and all modern dating advice, not limited to just the media aimed at men, but also including media on the 'other side' (see, they win already) of the spectrum like adolescence, the media reporting white guys committing crime but never niggers, pakis or women, and the idea that women need the 666 to find a man is all a psy op. It is divide and conquer.

TDS sufferers turning on their families in the US. Punch a Nazi slogans. Summer of love during lockdowns. BLM. Antifa, Portland. All of these are in the US, but the propaganda and hate is spread around the world.
Likewise in Canada there's an Indian take-over, famers abused, nationals jailed. In the UK paki rape gangs, southport stabbings and subsequent riots, people jailed for mean tweets. In France and Germany, non-stop knife attacks by mudslime nignogs and foreign invaders.

Your country being flooded with foreigners who receive preferential treatment. Your hobbies ruined and invaded by wokies and fags. Hobbies, entertainment being locked-down, over-priced and changed. Your history questioned, erased and blackwashed. It's all one huge web of deceit.

It's not just to get people to hate others, it's to get them to hate themselves, to be demoralised, to not recognise their own worth, their own country or identify friends, help or those who care about them.

What's the conspiracy? The end game is going to be the quickest, bloodiest war in human history with ZERO enemy combatants. How? We will see mass suicides on a scale never before witnessed. Why will people fall for it? Because mask up, lockdown, stay 6ft apart. Because they've tested the infection and disease of the mind of mass suicides in a Welsh town of Bridgend, where 26 teens hung themselves in the space of a year because they believed that was 'the thing' to do (or so the official story goes). Because Jim Jones showed them the power of MK ultra unleashed on the masses.

Steel yourself, your resolve and your mind, for the war of your thoughts, your spirit and your very soul, is about to begin.

I believe Big Foot is real. Why?

1) Cryptids found, photgraphed, discussed, documented and ignored, discredited and the believers called nuts. Example; Giant Squid. Photographs first emerged in 1880, called fakes, even though the story predated the photographs by hundreds of years, they were dismissed. Then, 120 years later, in 2004, a Japanese crew caught footage of the Giant Squid in its' natural habitat. Likewise, this happened with Haast's Eagle and The Duck-billed Platypus.

I think the patterson-gimlin film has a very good chance of being real, now that i've looked at it enough and mulled over the possibilities, but it's probably the worst possible recording of any sort of cryptid creature you could hope for. it's a shitty low quality 16mm film recording with a very sketchy origin. there are no reference points or things to compare against in the film besides another picture of the same riverbed 60 years ago, it shows little more than a silhouetted black figure that honestly kind of looks like a man in a suit walking for a few steps, and it's worse quality than a handheld vhs camcorder recording on extended play. if it's real or not it's basically worthless in proving anything

the two guys involved with it were a dying man desperate to prove his legacy and a guy who completely cut all ties to the film until like 30 years later. There was also someone who tried to muddy the waters and claimed to be the guy who was wearing the suit but his story doesn't make any sense, doesn't have reciepts, and was probably just attention seeking.

why do i think it might be real? because that's a really fucking good suit if it's a suit. where is the armpit seam? how did they make the thighs jiggle on each step? the feet aren't just clogs the toe end of the foot is moving. these things aren't out of the realm of possibility in a suit but it's really stretching it in 1967 when the materials and knowledge to make something to that level of fidelity would not be something i would assume even a mad millionaire could assemble in southern california in the late 60's. i wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility, but at some point occam's razor starts to dig in.

Tell me more. 26 teenagers in Bridgend alone?? It’s not a big place
It started in 2007 with a few kids hanging themselves, then every week another kid or couple of kids, hung themselves. It kept happening, nobody knew why until it ended after 26 of them were dead. The official report suggested that they killed themselves for the same reason the Jonestown 990 killed themselves; monkey see, monkey do.

Obviously, being a paranoid, schizophrenic, tinfoil-clad maniac, I never believed the official story and always considered it a psychological test, as it fits the bill pretty well.

From the wiki:

At least 26 suicides of young people were reported in Bridgend County Borough in South Wales in 2007 and 2008.[1] Reports speculated that a "suicide cult" was to blame, though police found no evidence to link the cases together. Of the suicides, all but one died from hanging.[2]

Many of the suicides were teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17. The parents of one of the dead accused the media of "glamorising ways of taking one's life to young people".[3] Madeleine Moon, Member of Parliament for Bridgend, said that the media were "now part of the problem".[4] The mother of one of the deceased added: "We have lost our son and the media reporting of this has made it more unbearable".[4]

In the years between 1996 and 2006, an average of three men ended their own lives in Bridgend every year. In 2007, the total was believed to be at least nine.[5] On 12 January 2010, it was reported that another two people had died by suicide in the town.[6]

In 2010 police asked the media to stop covering the suicides in an attempt to prevent copycat suicides. Bridgend is a former market town of around 39,000 people; however, the suicides stretched over the whole of Bridgend County Borough, which had a population of over 130,000.[7] The Office for National Statistics reported that the rate of suicides, averaged across England and Wales in 2010, was 11.1 per 100,000 people per year,[8] with Wales having the highest suicide rates at 14.6 per 100,000.

A 2013 documentary[9] and a 2015 drama film[10] were made about these incidents, both called Bridgend. The 2015 film was viewed in Wales as sensationalist, exploitative and lacking in truth, in that it showed local youths screaming out to their dead friends in the misty woods, skinny dipping en masse and revelling in regular underage drinking.[11][12]

Apparently, the Werther effect comes into play. There is a similar phenomenon that occurs with accidents. For example, if there's a plane crash, the more media coverage it receives, the higher the likelihood of another crash occurring within an immediate time frame. Likewise for car crashes, pile ups etc.
In the 90s (IIRC, I'm going off of memory here) a few boyband benders killed themselves and/or died, which led to a significant amount of fans to kill themselves. It was assumed they did it out of depression or sadness from losing an idle, but it turned out that they offed themselves because they believed it was the thing to do.

There's a book about Jim Jones and the Heaven's Gate cult massacre. It's a fascinating insight into social psychology and how herd mentality is extremely dangerous. When one reads this book, or studies Jonestown a little, it becomes difficult to deny Jones' own claims of being a test subject and participant of MK Ultra.

@Bog-standard Poster That’s very disturbing, might read up on that
13-17 is basically secondary school pupils. Did they ever look at a school link?

Suicide is reported in specific ways now exactly because of this copycat effect. They don’t glorify it, or they’re not supposed to but they still do.
I remember the pop suicides - there were loads in the nineties werent there and also loads of deaths from overdoses and car wrecks and stuff. Charlatans lost someone, Michael Hutchence, richey Edward’s… I remember after Cobain died the NME and other rags hounded a couple of bands relentlessly with the clear intent of encouraging breakdowns and suicides (my apologies for two Radiohead references in a day but I remember them going after them and a couple of other bands who were a bit on the gloomy side in a way that even my young self thought was hideous, it sparked my loathing of journalists…) I seem to remember them running more than one piece about whether they thought thom yorke or Eddie Vedder would (by which they meant should) kill themselves first. Think I stopped reading the NME after that.
Herd mentality is dangerous. Nobody ever learns the lesson, and we just lived through Covid.
