The first half (maybe third?) of season 1 was plagued by downtime. It was super bad in the first couple weeks or so. I love season 1 but yeah it had a ton of boring days where almost nothing would happen until Sam showed up in the evening. Season 2 and 3 were much better about this. The camping segment of S1 stands out to me as the best example of dead air on the show.

Sidenote I'm still very annoyed that several of the season 1 episode edits were botched by Jet and super short. The season deserved much better treatment but knowing the wiggers it's never going to happen.

I'm hopeful for season 4, there's no reason it should be shitty at this point, only Jet could mess it up. They learned how the show works with season 1 and easy mistakes to avoid. They learned how to make content in season 2 when it wasn't there. Blood games got them used to just carrying cameras around while Season 3 taught them they can shove a camera into their faces and they still wouldn't suspect a thing. All they need to do is sharpen up the season 3 formula, avoid dropping the ball on retarded bit ideas (the prison arc) and it'll be peak. Fishtank season 4 please hit the nail on the head

Blame Jet for that one. It was supposed to stream on the site before Jet/Mints decided to "rugpull" Stream Stars "because it was eating into the pre season hype". The sole reason it is rushed is because it was said on-site streaming will go till early June.
Kalkalaka who setup the event considered this a mini-finale and did it because others streamers felt left out from previous IRL spin-offs like "Sardine Tin" or "Wacky's House of Victims" (and saw this as their way of build hype for what's after lol).
It's most likely gonna flop in terms of audience but I'm sure it will be serviceable for them to meet and hangout.
The streamers still interested in the "job" moved on to other sites already, and hardly any of them is using Fishtank for cross-promo. I think they took the audition meme pretty well.

I'm pretty sure one of them said they had something coming imminently to the site so they HAD to clear everything out now NOW NOW. Fuckall actually happened of course.

I don't remember if I was just busier or what it was, but I couldn't get into Blood Games. It provided a lot of ments, and funny clips I consumed, but I would never watch it as it happened.

As much as I talk shit about FT, I'm looking forward to S4. Chain smoking ciggies at 2am hopping from cam to cam just hits the spot for me.

We’re most likely talking after June 11th when the last Extreme Peace live show is. Best bet would be Friday the 13th (next weekend after, spooky, Friday)

To be fair, when you look past the highlight edits and into how it was to actually watch it live, the scuff is pretty noticeable. They hyped up the POV cameras, only for most of them to be down the majority of the time, with maybe one or two working when they did. They hyped up having a drone, only to crash and break it in 20 seconds. The amount of cameras took a massive cut when they realized their network setup was too dogshit to run so many. The rain made audio absolutely terrible.

The actual show more than makes up for it in my opinion, but not being able to watch that would be pretty understandable.

POV cameras were often worse than the handheld cam too due to the angle or shit like the only working POV cam is 20 feet away and you can't hear anything.

It was because they were in a forest using cell networks and i assume the wifi from the garage at 5ghz. 2.4ghz would give them the best penetration but wouldn't have the bandwidth needed. If they upgraded to wifi7 gear it'll be even worse.

People don't get that tree are radio absorbers as they are massive water filled structures and if they have leafs even more so. Rain also causes massive issues with wifi and cell networks and even high enough humidity can cause some issues.
