I don't think Austin will be allowed to gamble in prison so at least his stuff is finally safe. That's until he loses it all along side his shampoo and toilet paper!
Thread tourist here and I can't bother to dig 500 pages of nigger rape jokes.
How long is he in for now?
How fucked is he legally?
Thank you in advance.
You think people don't gamble in prisons? They do, but in secret. And instead of money it's cigarettes and candy bars.I don't think Austin will be allowed to gamble in prison so at least his stuff is finally safe.

It was just simple "Assault and Battery of a Family Member" (twice), which is only a misdemeanor. While awaiting trial both times Austin did have a restraining order against him, that was modified for no harassing/threatening/violent contact. But you are correct the judge did not find it serious enough to evict Austin from his home. Family/Domestic court is weird.I don’t know much about the family member incident beyond the fact it wasnt serious enough for the judge to consider Austin and his father living in the same premises a problem.
Not to be a pedantic asshole Austin is on Probation, not Parole. In the US probation is part of his sentence by a judge. Getting on parole is being let out of prison early. Generally both have very similiar terms and you even see a Probation and Parole officer. Elsewise with that out of the way, you are correct. Regarding cases of probation violation, it is a charge, and one's guilt and punishment is determined by a Judge. Now the judge could simply extend his probation, which is what was done with the first felony probation violation. In his prior case he was already found guilty of a violation for the drug possession which was part of the same arrest/event as slapping his dad, the judge may consider it already punished and carry on. God forbid if in that instance Austin had punched a random stranger instead of his father, the case would not have been in a separate court and it would have just been rolled up into the felony violation. Getting violated and being back in court so soon, the judge might not be happy to see Austin but its not a new charge, and the judge may view it as paperwork catching up. Even though it would be a second count of violating his felony probation. Racking up a second strike could doom him with the pending drug failures. He doesn’t have to send Austin to prison for his violations if he doesn’t want to; they’re typical infractions of parole.
I'm curious what led to the cops showing up.
Was it just him pissing hot or something?
So I got rated late for asking and linked to the other thread and it's... he got violated for punching his father a year ago?Indeed. Austin's current felony warrant for felony probation violation, the offense date is 7/2/2024. This is the date of him hitting his father, and the cocaine possession. before this day the last time Austin had even been arrested for a crime was the car break ins.
This is discretionary, correct? It would be "funny" if Austin does catch his original 5 years prison time from breaking into cars 10 years ago... because he slapped his dad. He made it 9 out of 10 years on probation without a problem. Are we sure someone didnt send him a Sonichu?
gambling is one of the few things you can do in jail. They don't care about inmates betting soups on card games lol
Pretty much every state and federal facility is tobacco free. Usually what gets traded and gambled with is commissary that isn't necessarily popular to eat. For example, in the federal system, salmon packs have replaced cigs. You think people don't gamble in prisons? They do, but in secret. And instead of money it's cigarettes and candy bars.
I would quote your text but your subtle capitalization watermark might get me banned.Redacted
My ex BIL is "special" and regularly serves stints in the county jail and did a few years in the pen.You think people don't gamble in prisons? They do, but in secret. And instead of money it's cigarettes and candy bars.
