last time the judge was pretty fed up with our boss. judges talk with each other like everyone else, prosecutors talk with judges, the flip is most likely switched no matter which judge(s) handle the domestic violence probation violation and the felony probation violation. i think the most likely outcome is felony probation is revoked, domestic violence violation is handwaved because he will have been violated on the felony, and we'll see him in 12ish months. maybe a little less maybe a little more. they almost never keep someone in for the full sentence on probation violations but it won't be a slap on the wrist this time unless that sentence SQUIRTS. and when he gets out he'll have that felony probation clock reset, minus the time just spent behind bars. this is so wrong
This is also small town Virginia too. They don't like having to constantly arrest the same person over and over again. It's possible it could be worse then a year this time. Especially if he catches a fresh charge from this.

Current context is applicable. If he had recently been found to have done anything actually criminal (beyond drugs) of course the judge is going to hit him with a sledgehammer. He had the sentence suspended and has had many chances since because he hasn’t done anything involving other people beyond himself as the victim - if he had broken into a car, committed theft or a host of other things he would have had his suspended sentence executed long ago.
Judge probably knows there is no way in hell Bossman completes a 12 month outpatient Rehab program. Maybe if his family agrees to pay out the ass for one of those boutique rehab facilities. Where they physically tard wrangle you and have a Nurse minding your business 24/7. Those are expensive as shit though. Which means the options are a long term out patient care facility with minimum oversight, or Prison.
