Love the cope and past tense claim of victory when the simple truth is the game sold better than it ever was going to because Danny opened his mouth about it.

Because lets be honest, the biggest failure isn't the gook coom slop steam game, it is Razorfist, who by being an obnoxious nob about the issue put his own shady past into public discussion, got outed as a groomer and in a tard rage threatened a lolsuit as a result. That is on top of the game selling more than it would have if he and Melanie Mac had just shut their fucking mouths.

The game, despite being a failure, had more success than it deserved due to their actions. More people coomed to pixelated tits due to what they did, than would have if they had said nothing. I can't see a benefit to supporting these people if you're anti-goon, they did it in such a way they made the antigoon side look reasonable by comparison (which again speaks to how massive a failure Razors and MM's side is considering gooners are fucking creepy and unreasonable by nature).

Reminds me of how Prohibition, another attempt by holier-than-thou people to enforce morality, ended with more people getting drunk than before. It also built up the Mafia from small-time hood gangs to criminal empires that commanded respect and authority.

In this case, a by-the-numbers Korean fanservice game that would've been forgotten was instead hailed as something to be defended by the gooners of the web when plastic Christians like Razorfist and Melanie Mac went after it. The latter two are further condemned by their hypocrisy, considering the fact that Razorfist used to stand for the pro-gooner/anti-puritan platform when he complained about Mortal Kombat X and 11 covering up the ladies, (he was especially angry about Mileena being covered up) and Melanie was openly supportive of the Tomb Raider franchise; one of the earliest gaming franchises to take advantage of 3D graphics so that gooners could have a realistic, "well-defined", 3D woman to ogle.

The anti-gooner position would be better served if its advocates weren't advertising the exact opposite position less than 10 years ago.

The moralfagging bothers me more as a conservative than it would the gooners. We already tried this shit in the 80s and it didn't work. Instead, it helped the liberals gain votes from the more secular, less moralistic people who just wanted to fuck and be left alone. All the way up to the 2010s, most people were liberals because the Right didn't leave them alone. I've come to the conclusion that those who want to be moral should be allowed to, but those who want to engage in worldly pleasures should be given the choice to do so.

Razor going full puritan not only runs contrary to his own positions back in 2019, but it also shows that he's forgotten how the liberals became so dominant in culture and politics to begin with. Even as far as 2012, most nerd spaces were liberal, most gaming spaces were liberal. And it was like that for a reason.

Razor and his new masters' penchant for moral totalitarianism will lead to the Right losing all the ground it gained in the past ten years. Especially with Trump's disastrous second term fucking the economy into the dirt. People don't like it when the prices for goods rise due to asinine trade wars, and people don't like it when moral busybodies try to control what they can and can't watch or play.

You can also toss in Soul Calibur 6. After good entries from 1-4 and a disastrous 5th entry, they managed to worm their way back into glory with SC6. And yes, the women are as thicc as most gamers would want them to be.

If Razor actually stayed in college long enough to graduate, there were classes where they taught this stuff; the history of how America tried to use its cultural hegemony to spread the ideas and values of western liberalism in the Cold War, and decades after the Cold War, those values eventually came to include LGBT acceptance, as well as tolerance for trans people and immigrants. Exporting American culture through movies and music was a way to spread American values across the Atlantic and the Pacific.

I wouldn't be surprised if behind closed doors, people like Razor admit it's all a scam. I have more respect for people like Pope Francis and Joel Olsteen than I do for Razorfist when it comes to religion.
