We weren't raised by people who knew hard times. Gen Z was birthed by Gen X. The direct relationship tends to come in via higher ed. In college, many of your professors & TAs will be between your age and your parents' ages. All of the professors teaching radical gender shit when I was in school were Gen X, and now, my generation is actively teaching Zoomer college students to cut off their balls.
