Any time I hear a man saying "Women only date X types of guys!". I would LOVE to know the type of man they consider to be in that 5-10% because I'm willing to bet they not only look good but they also have good jobs and can take care of themselves and their partners properly.

If you are deep into the Blackpill subculture you will know that there is not a consensus among them. Some say hypermasculines, others pretty boys (The former is closer to reality but still not quite, at least in a western context.)

Does anyone have any speculation as to why this is? It's such an odd phenomenon.

What sons need from their fathers is to be tested, whereas what they need from their mothers is to be comforted. So more masculine men (with issues) typically blame their mothers, whereas the more feminine ones blame their fathers. A great example of the latter is kurt cobain, who despised his father don all his life despite both his parents being shit. I also know a non-binary zoomer who hates his dad to an incredible degree despite the old man just being a normie low IQ alcoholic.

Regardless, you can see some logic at play here, where the masculine mother-haters are very logical, practical and successful but lack a sort of feminine empathy/emotionality, whereas the feminine father-haters are deeply emotional, helpless, and impulsive (like women). If the parent of the opposite sex fails to fulfill their role, they're producing an unbalanced child. That mothers fail this test way more often than fathers is obviously because connecting with sons is extremely difficult for women. Actually, it seems that motherly love's natural origin is a state of helplessness; women love whatever depends on them. So if a boy is intelligent and matures quickly, he'll likely be cut off from maternal comfort before he's fully developed that part of himself. If that lack of empathy and emotionality harms him, he will blame his mother.

Ironically, this process produces some incredible people: George Washington, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, Tolstoy, Poe, Keats, Newton, Tesla, Hume, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, etc... None of them had real relations with their fathers. For men, it seems this often doesn't psychologically harm us in any way -- it just makes us fiercely independent and strong-willed.

I haven't heard him talk much about restaurants or delivery app culture despite the need to stay close to cities & spending most of his adult working years in SF/NYC.

Homemade food seemed to be a big theme in the little glimpses we saw in his relationship with Rich Zoomer Girl last year.

The praise he gave her at the time surrounded her cooking for him while he was working. Or went to the store to secure provisions. Pretty sure she even once made him a fruit&cheese plate midstream and he showed if off on camera. hoe_math also pretty consistently for years has ended his Tues livestreams because "he has to go eat". This is another clue that I believe he lived/lives in a Mountain or Pacific timezone between his obsession with mountains and having not even begun to cook dinner at 10 pm EST.

This is partially where my "steak & grill cheese" quip comes from. Those are some of the few foods I'm heard him mention consuming on stream. He's stated in the past that his favorite food is "apples" particularly a variety he ate from a farmers' market in WA. I've also heard him talking about eating grapes, grill cheese & steaks. He occasionally talks about that he's going to drink some beer after the stream alone, but I get the impression it's infrequent.

Once he had been viral for a while, he started talking about rewarding himself with expensive steaks.

TL; DR - The proximity to urban areas to maintain proximity to restaurants, takeout & delivery apps is a good guess, but I don't get that impression from his content.

If anything, it would be that he's more used to bougie ingredients from grocers for home use given his New England/SF/NYC roots.

Though most of his wall-of-text rants seem to be specifically targeted at left-leaning types rather than more centrist/soft RW/classical liberal types like James Lindsay here.


I've noticed that a lot of his Twitter posting & feuds of late that target specific personalities is actually more focused on the "Woke Right" proponent types like James Lindsay and Seth Dillon/Joel Berry of The Babylon Bee instead of dueling with actual left wing types.

This reply guy has personal relevance to me as he's part of the Canadian Diagolon meme terrorist movement that I follow from a distance.
Diagolon is a meme movement, roughly akin to the Groypers or Douglass Mackey/Ricky Vaughn (who went to prison for posting fake Hilary Clinton "election interference" memes), but more for middle-aged Canadian roughneck gymbros wearing plaid like lumberjacks.

Greg Wycliffe is a Toronto-based ?amateur comedy musician and podcaster. He's roughly 4th in line in the Diagolon organizational hierarchy.

Spoiler: Sperging about the meme terrorist Diagolon movement

Diagolon is a fictitious satirical movement that spun-off from their leader Jeremy MacKenzie's COVID era Raging Dissident podcast. MacKenzie is a retired Afghanistan combat veteran that lives in Nova Scotia on Canada's eastern Maritime coast.



The Diagolon meme is a satirical creation of MacKenzie on his podcast one night that a separatist movement should former where all the "based" provinces & states stretching obliquely from Alaska to Florida should break away & form their own republic, leaving the fake & ghey coastal elites behind.



He hosted a small but niche dissident podcast originally mostly complaining about COVID restrictions. This culminated a few years later with MacKenzie, Wycliffe and some of the other Canadians associated with the podcast traveling to Ottawa to participate in the 2022 Trucker Convoy protest (though none of them are truckers and everyone that was associated with their movement left before the police crackdown began).

Since Trudeau and the various levels of government decided to make some truckers in flannel honking horns their own version of Jan 6th, MacKenzie and some others associated were labeled by Canadian intelligence & law enforcement agencies as domestic terrorists. Before the end of the protest by mass police violence, four men thousands of kms away at a separate-but-sympathetic farmer protest at the Coutts, Alberta/Montana border were arrested on charges of "conspiring to kill a RCMP officer". The Mounties showed off a sussy weapons cache seizure including body armour adorned with Diagolon's symbols. One of the accused was a podcast listener who had met MacKenzie once, so was smeared as being his "head of security" because of his stature and photos with MacKenzie.



The four would be held without bail or trial for 2+ years. Eventually MacKenzie held a fundraiser that raised 200k to fund a lawyer who negotiated a plea deal to get his one incarcerated podcast listener to get released on time served for improper storage of a firearm, dropping the conspiracy to kill a Mountie charge. One of the other men eventually got out on a similar plea. The two others remain incarcerated after a trial where they were found not guilty of Conspiracy to commit murder, but Guilty of possessing the means to build an inciendary advice and mischief charges for blocking a border crossing IIRC.

MacKenzie himself would be charged in 5 different jurisdictions in Canada for sussy politically-motivated offenses mostly unrelated to protesting. Trudeau and other political figures began histrionically calling him in Parliament and in the media a dangerous threat to national security and the leader of a violent White Supremacist movement that had to be stopped. He used Diagolon & MacKenzie's online memes as justification for enacting martial law across the country, suspending the civil rights of 40 million people and had financial institutions freeze triple digit bank accounts of citizens not charged with any crime. MacKenzie himself was incarcerated for a time in the fall of 2022. After many years of litigation, he eventually beat the charges in all 5 jurisdictions.

Wycliffe himself hasn't been charged with any domestic terrorist crimes AFAIK, but he was a frequent reporter & documentarian during the Canadian COVID protest scene from 2021-23.

He's more cosmopolitan, white collar and buttoned-up than the rest of the roughneck Diagolon crew.

I've never read/heard him confirm that he ever lived in NYC before, so I've always been referring to it conditionally/speculatively.
All the circumstantial clues suggested he was living in NYC during his most successful Communications, public-facing, more fulfilled employment, "dream job" period that COVID restrictions eventually killed and he spent a long period of time afterwards unemployed, depressed, lying in bed until 4 pm drinking Gatorade.

It's definitely not enough to have all the same stuff. The minimum possible population to have "all" the same stuff as LA or NYC is probably about 300,000-400,00.

I don't think you can necessarily say that the quality of people on dating apps reflects IRL. A lot of the guys have unflattering photos and bios that are boring, crude, or empty. Plus there's roughly 3 men for every 1 woman, so of course the women are pursuing a smaller pool of desirable guys.

If you are referencing the more-than-a-decade old study from OK Cupid, they asked women if they’d be interested in getting to know the men they ranked as “not that attractive” and virtually all of them said yes. Male participants did not say the same for the women they ranked as “not that hot”.
