This is more a case of "If someone tells you who they are, believe them." They are posting their opinions and beliefs on social media, which is public. They can't reasonably complain that America didn't let them in when they posted "Death to America!" for example.

Yes they can, should, and will. You as a student entering the US are legally required to sign forms saying you will not stir up shit during your time here. That includes involving yourself in American politics. Foreigners do not have a right to protest. They do not have a right to voice their opinions. You are not a citizen. You are a guest. If I went to China and they learned about my multiple rants here against Communism, they can and would deny my visa and would be right to do so.

They still have the freedom to say whatever they want. In their own country. These are foreigners asking for permission to enter the United States, not citizens covered by the first amendment.
