russell also seems not to acknowledge the fact that if he lied about his IFP status, it’s grounds for dismissal. he doesn’t acknowledge that in any
of his filings at all, and in fact, seems to provide evidence of it.
I can imagine the possibility that Greer is just so retarded that he thought his finances allowed for IFP status. But it would be quite strange if his statements here don't match his disclosures in the IFP application. He had money he could use for discretionary purposes when he filed his action, so my question is what he told the court about that money in his IFP application. Did he just not mention it? Did he lie and say it was bound up or spent already? Maybe he did mention it but is so retarded that his language obfuscated the reality of his assets.

I'm sure the District of Utah will be right on it.

Whenever he persistently refuses to acknowledge something -- like the way the SPO works, or Hardin's repeated requests for meet-and-confers -- it's deliberate, so he can ultimately pretend he didn't understand.

If it pleases the court, I'd like to explain. Apparently, I'm some kind of IPF fraudster now? Which is bananas because I'm out here barely affording my business expenses, but at the same time you think I'm swimmin in cash like Scrooge McDuck. It's like I'm living in some world where my wallet's both empty and overflowing. I'm not a broke joke, but I really can't afford these sanctions and Mr. Stalker over there doesn't deserve money from me either. Oddly, no one's asked if maybe my life's just weird and inconsistent sometimes. Yeah, sometimes I'm pinching pennies, but other times someone Venmos me a few dollars, and suddenly I'm a white collar criminal?

I've frauded nobody. I filled out the form the best I could with what I knew. Sure, maybe I didn't cross all the T's and I's, but I'm not trying to trick the court. That's not how this works, life's messy. And honestly, if this whole thing is too much for Hardin the Hardship to untangle, well, he can just close his eyes.
I smell a little of Balldo in this humorous paraphrasing.

That is to say, it's sweaty and fishy.

he can go to a uhual center to get the contract or dig through his emails for a copy.
Any time I have used them, I had to use a credit card. Just sayin'
The filings seem to help Hardin in his argument to be allowed to see ECF 1. Greer admits to having saved up at least $3700 which he then spent in December 2020. Not a stretch to assume that in order to accrue $3700 he would have at least ~$400 in September 2020. Does this mean Greer was close to the IFP threshold who know? It does throw mud into the water around the state of his fiances in 2020. Which was the point Hardin made in ECF 317 on why he would like to see ECF 1. Great to see Greer and Hardin working together.

$1200 in utilities? For a single guy? Are ya shittin' me? And at $16/hr? He wouldn't even gross enough for the rent and car. Plus, we know he has the gym membership.
I assume this means that the supremes will have a chance to crush this retarded precedent now. Or, God help us all, affirm it.
Wait til they get to the plot twist of it being hosted on Google and not the farms.
I think he's more like DSP. He did nothing wrong. He did everything cor erect. And he somehow has the survival capacity of a cockroach.
fixed

I'm certain he did at least some work pro bono just to spite Ratmouth, but I'd have to go digging to find it.
Searching the main thread reveals a lot of postulating about just this, however:

Skordas does not work pro bono but I agreed to a flat rate with him for the entire appeals process before Greer got pro bono representation. I paid my bill a very long time ago.

Admittedly, he does specify that it's the *appeals* process, but I'm pretty sure Skordas was compensated from the jump.

if he works 40 hrs a week he'd still clear above 30k. whinging about $16/hr is a sleight of hand, he'd have to show tax records at this point before anyone believes he's a pauper proper. funny how he didn't do that

something something contributary thanks to the 10th circuit appeal.

yeah but russ is a lazy faggot who'll see his 2020 statement needs to be requested online and say "i tried but the credit card company won't give it to me. go ask them"

Err... defendants don't have to have a case, they just need to prove yours is more bullshit than not (which they have already done, God only knows why this fucking case continues to lurch forward like a half decayed zombie).
Umm, you don't know what you're talking about, sweaty. Greer knows all about the law and moving parties and how the judge has to read complaints in the light most favorable to the moving party.
And Russ can totally prove he used his stimulus check so he could move, ergo he's the moving party and the judge has to give all of kiwifarm's dollarydoos to Russ so he can get him his dick sucked like the 10th circuit said!

You'd know this if you were a brilliant paralegal like Russ!

I'm actually kinda surprised this isn't part of the requirement to file IPF IFP, just to avoid issues like this were someone's head canon declares they are poor or 'saving up' (for whores) therefore they can waive fees.

im sure the court thinks no one would be stupid enough to lie or that not enough people lie for it to be a requirement. its also something that could be remedied (?) with paying the fee when finances change or with charges and sanctions in russ' case.

All of the language surrounding the application is supposed to be so scary that nobody would ever consider outright lying. But of course the Federal Courts work on the Honor System.

It would be funny to discover that Greer's filings today are a pack of lies compared to ECF 1.
Or vice versa.

Is that something the SC is allowed to do at this stage in the Sony case, or do they have to accept it as written?

Our dear associate @D_Tractor has begun acknowledging Mr. Greer's superior Latin awareness and has switched to the technically superior in pauperis forma language in his Community Feature Submission: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/community-feature-submissions.114933/post-21542123

Russell Greer filed 3 new motions to the court which seem to contain further evidence that he committed in pauperis forma fraud against the court:

Perhaps this thread should also adopt this improvement in language?
