Very Good brothers! This place is long part of our collective history now and I believe it has an even bigger role to play in the future. It certainly has its benefits here, and after the shartening I think it has established itself as the staging ground for the next inevitable outage/habbening surrounding the chins.
The only thing I wish was that I made this account sooner instead of hesitating during lockdowns and deciding not to back then. I can actually discuss music and history like I always wanted to without a troon shrieking at me, or haploid group autism on /his/ of the Juans and Ranjeets. Anything beats being on that hospice home of a website. The other people who like history here are very enjoyable. I won't be surprised if it's a while before something happens as doing anything with 4chan is honestly boring. It's poking something dead and I won't be surprised if it dies out around the 2030s.

What happened to this thread? This thread is not about 4chan anymore, it's some 4chanholic anonymous support group for recovering addicts. I don't care about your lives.
I mean to be fair what else is there really for people to say about 4chan? The site sucks and most people don't see it as anything special or interesting anymore except for when something like the hack happens.

Why does the search function still not fucking work after the come back. Bumping hot button threads with dumb shit was funny

Users from altchan soyjak.party discover that the EasyPeasy method is censored on 4chan. From what I read, it seems mentioning it on /b/ and /pol/, replaces your submitted post with a generic spam thread or redirects it to one. The Easy Peasy method is a free service and guide to help overcome porn addiction.

It's not "creating" a thread, that's just skitzo shit. There is a censorship system on 4chan that makes posts with certain no-no words and phrases not go through. When you try to post on a thread it will simply not appear, and when you try to make a new one it redirects you to the latest bumped thread. I used to have this happen all the fucking time on /v/ and the latest time was on /int/ when I tried making a thread with some phrase like "considered white in your country". It was the first time since the hack I tried posting anything and the website itself prevented me from doing so. Fuck them. Even worse than censorship is their obscure system where you don't even know what is being censored and when.

I've figured this out for a while but either no one cared on there or posts talking about it got "shadow hidden" as well.
Every website does this shit now, youtube and reddit are egregious with it, try to talk to normies about youtube "shadow hiding" comments and they just stare at you with bovine eyes or go "I've never seen that happen to anyone" because they themselves never checked or their opinions are the same as the chat gpt garbage they use to filter comments in the first place. It creates a false consensus among people because they filter out "inappropriate" views or observations as well and we all know consensus seeking normies will just align their own beliefs to what they THINK is the majority consensus.
On all websites, 4chan included, even if you get past the AI filter, then a mod from China, India, or a tranny will just delete whatever you post anyway. Its not even shit like "oh you just want to say nigger", you can't even say "theres too much immigration" or sometimes negativity directed towards certain products get filtered, really anything "negative" seems to get filtered on youtube, not like you should take anything there without a pile of salt since they removed downvotes and pushed "popular" comments as opposed to "most recent" as the default option now but I'm going on a tangent.

Anyone who thinks 4chan is some sort of "free speech" or "non censored" forum is retarded and deserves to be surrounded by the indians, bots, and trannies that infest that site.

His name is null. Unlike hiroshimoot he actually interacts with the website he runs. Although I would dial down the autism before he smokes you.
Null is the Beast son, whatre u talkin about, he has the keys to the fuckin door not just the yard

I agree somewhat, the chins have definitely lost much of their magikal memenigger magic. I dont think we are gonna see another >niggerstounguemyanus or a us prez manifested into the physical realm from there unless something changes:/

What worries me is the scarcity of forums low on censorship and without algorithm trickery to talk about hobby stuff or specific activities in general. It seems like all of those got gobbled up by Reddit over the years. And I don't really count Kiwi Farms as one since at the end of the day this is still a forum about drama of e-celebs of varying relevancy, and it tends to attract a certain kind of user with a persecution complex who likes being edgy all the time because they can't do it on other websites. That applies to 4chan as well, hence its growing reputation as "edgy Reddit."

There's definitely something fucky going on behind the scenes to tunnel users towards endless gooning content. We've talked long enough about certain SFW boards (I know, try to hold your laughter) being flooded with thinly veinly porn all the time and the mods won't do shit about it, but they will instadelete a heckin' wrongthinkerino in mere seconds. You're more likely to get banned for complaining about porn than posting porn on the blue boards. I know tranny jannies are on it, but I wonder if they're just being malicious on their own or motivated by external agents.

On a different note, I noticed something weird yesterday. There was a thread on /v/ that had all the signs of being the typical thread that mods hurry themselves to suppress ASAP - a thread mocking trannies. But instead of being deleted, it was allowed to stay up until bump limit. The thread had all the signs of a trannycord raid with obvious inorganic pro-tranny posters flooding the thread trying to make it seem like 4chan is majorly pro-pozz. I wonder if it signifies a new approach towards the chud element of the site -- gaslighting and falseflagging over suppression. Also I wouldn't be surprised if once the thread got archived, they rounded up all the undesirables to the firing squad to get as many victims as possible. Nothing would surprise me from this crop of tranny jannies.

>Being on 4chan so long you are now impervious to porn spam

That's the problem everywhere. You take neutral platform, and everything goes well. Then some people start to look for the edges where they can upset people without getting banned. Maybe they do it because they like shocking people, maybe because they're schizos, maybe because they want a platform to discuss the lizard conspiracy. Rules get implemented and slowly the "I want it banned because it hurts my feefees" takes over. It starts to suffocate even legitimate discussions. So they make a new, uncensored, platform. But who jumps ship? Aunt Dora with her pie recipe channel/forum? No, it's the people that got banned. So you end up with a new platform that is just the crazies. Similar to how this forum has a bunch of people with a persecution complex. Meanwhile the main platform further shifts into normalfag territory because the few more extreme hanger-ons leave.

You saw a different, but similar effect on 4chan. When /s4s/ was made, everyone from every board came in. Both high quality and low quality posters. The low quality washed away the high quality posts, and then those posters left. This meant more garbage to quality, which drove more and more people away until it just became a dumping ground.

Kiwifarms seems to have pretty diverse opinions. My guess is because it is a lolcow forum. Similar to how anime is best discussed outside /a/, warhammer outside /tg/ and videogames outside /v/, talking about non-lolcow things on a lolcow forum gives you quality discussion.

I think a better example is 8chan, first popularized by people who wanted to discuss Gamergate outside of 4chan and its moderation, eventually turned into Q boomer zone.
