I don't know why this Alex Cole guy always shows up on my feed. There are like 5-6 libshit accounts that always show up on my Xitter feed, despite never interacting with them, and he's one of the worst.
It's funny how he mentions immigrants writing a majority of the software. Immigrant engineers and outsourced contractors have arguably been the most devastating thing to happen to tech. A large majority of the big boys in the tech industry are held up by old code bases written at their inception, and function despite the foreigner codebases. Meanwhile, a ton of tech startups have crumbled, because the retards who started them or, in many cases their investors, sought to use outsourced labor or jeet graduates for their initial grunt workers. On top of this, the CompSci and adjacent degrees are infested with jeet student visas, meaning the pool of skilled tech workers is about to get cataclysmically smaller. That's one of the reasons there's such a push towards fully generative AI, despite the evidence the current LLM technology not really being the right vector to reach it. It's because, without altering from this path, in 30 years your only choice of a decent tech employee will be some guy from China, who barely speaks English and will give your entire codebase over to the CCP.
