They bet the $50k on roulette, and lost, because Burt didn't really care about the money and just wanted fame. The final days of the show he was trying to figure out how to split the prize 100 ways so everyone involved on the show made money depending on the entertainment value they brought. However they also ruined his grifts of being a white tutor and his potential firefighter job with the bros so hes been mad about that ever since.

One very underrated funny moment from the first day of S3 is that when everybody came in one by one, Sam did his hammed up introductory speech telling them it's their chance to win 50k. Whoever one time, I think it was Simbal, he told that the prize is 5k instead. I still don't know if it was some subtle joke or a legitimate mess up.

I completely missed out on S3. Is there a YouTube channel with highlights I can use to catch up? Or should I just read thread highlights?

Sam took a heap of jabs at Signal in the intro. the "smells strongly of cologne" is peak Indian mocking.
These people put so much on to mask their jeetstink.

If you don't want to go the recap route and want lengthy streams:

- React Simply has a playlist of important clips in chronological order.
- FishtTank Kush has lengthy collections of clips from each day, these however do miss major drama-moments so advisable to pair with the above.
- Once you get to day 7, most days have the director's stream on the main YT channel but a few days have been removed I believe for various reasons. (Ogre visit day is removed I think, I know someone uploaded a 13-hour recording of this day in this thread, though.)

I'm background rewatching right now at work and I forgot how incredible Burt was early on. Three hours in and he's beating off. Tremendous, Burt.

This isn't a pleasant answer but I really don't recommend watching Youtube clippers to watch a season. If you missed out live your best bet is to wait for the edits, those will be a much better way to experience the season for the first time, if they're anything like the s2 edits anyway.

The Youtube clippers tend to get things wrong and insert their own bias towards fish skewering the "narrative" of the season. Being that they are Youtubers they always have the worst kind of biases. And they always insert their own narration and cringe youtuber voices as if they are the star of the show and it's just awful. The clip videos in nature are just very quickly slopped together videos that are just meant to catch you up if you missed a day when the show is still live, trying to watch those clips for any other reason might ruin the season for you.
